The property is a nice Portugal style house that has been converted into a hotel. The means it has its original decor and character. Staff always tried to be helpful and this made the stay even better. Great shower, bed and hospitality!
The access to this property gives a lot to be desired. I found it clunky and error prone. The staff for instance would not give you the door code on the last day even though you can leave your bags or not take up breakfast onsite. This meant I was told “you are going today so you can’t have the door code” even though I wanted to go down the road and have breakfast and come back to check out.
The AC in my room failed during one of the nights, which was swiftly fixed. However, the bit I didn’t like was the unit was so noisy compared to other rooms units. I didn’t bring this up at the time, as I thought that was just normal noise it makes. After going into another room of our party, I noticed the AC unit was remarkably quieter than the I was staying in, which was room 6

Not only the location was amazing, very close to the train station, the room, staff and breakfast was great, BUT Luis, the owner, allowed us to not only have our suitcases stored for 9 days but also dealt with our rental bike delivery, stored the boxes and the pick up! OUTSTANDING!!!!

The bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The staff helped us carry our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. The room was very clean. Breakfast was great!
The shower was tiny! Beware the mosquitos if you open the windows!
