About this villa rental
The villa is located 600m from the center of Sampieri, surrounded by a countryside rich in Mediterranean plants and with sudden glimpses of the sea. The beach is 250 m and it is within walking distance.
The house has two bedrooms, a living, a kitchen and one bathroom.Around the house a large veranda and a litte garden.
Sampieri is close to the famous Baroque sites declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site: Scicli 8 km, Modica 15 km ,Ragusa Ibla 30 km,Noto 40 km.
From Pozzallo is possible to reach Malta by catamaran in a few hours.
Sampieri has another beach, characterized by the "Fornace Pisciotto", set of the TV drama "Il Commissario Montalbano".
The coast sciclitana has other beaches free or equipped chalet where young people can listen to music and eat fast food.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the Sampieri house and Signora Schembri was most welcoming, attentive, and helpful; when we had questions, she was always very prompt and friendly in dealing with them. It would have been helpful to have written details on such things as setting the burglar alarm, working the television, location of rubbish bins, heating the water etc. We felt perfectly at home, safe and secure (despite previous reviews expressing unnecessary concern).
There is a 3 minute stroll down the private road to a small quiet beach and a further delightful walk of ten minutes or so round the headland to the Sampieri waterfront where the beach is huge and superb; in summer months it must be extremely popular. Being now October, the village felt shut up; we found no shops open, only one restaurant and a beach cafe but supermarkets are only ten minutes drive away.
There is plenty of shade round the house and ample seating of every kind and there are glimpses of the sea through the trees. There is some traffic noise but not obtrusive. Inside is quite spacious and well equipped for two persons though four or five visitors might feel that only one comfortable settee is insufficient and kitchen space and utensils are rather limited. Our ageing limbs found the bed rather hard but the air conditioning in the bedroom was most welcome as the first week of our stay was still very hot. There is plenty to see and do in the attractive Ragusa province - though the quality of the roads can mean longer travel times than you might expect! A most enjoyable stay and our sincere thanks go to Carmela.

Wir haben zum zweiten Mal bei Carmela Schembri gebucht und waren sehr begeistert . Diesmal brauchten wir innerhalb weniger Stunden vorort eine schöne Unterkunft und Carmela hat mehr als spontan reagiert, das hat uns gerettet. Noch am Abend konnten wir das Haus beziehen und hatten grosses Glück ! Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in Alleinlage ,eingebettet in die Natur, in Blicknähe befindet sich ein weiteres schönes Ferienhaus von der geleichen Vermieterin, welches wir auch schon für sehr gut befanden. Dies Haus ist groß, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse geht ums Haus und man findet immer Schatten, Nachts den Sternenhimmel vom Liegestuhl aus zu bewundern ist auch sehr schön. Um das Haus herum sind gepflegte Bepflanzungen . Der Weg zum Badestrand dauert ca. 7 min,auch ein schöner Spaziergang entlang der Klippen in das schöne Sampieri ist zu Fuss in ca. 15 min gut zu schaffen . Wir können das Haus bestens empfehlen und möchten uns nochmals bei Carmela Schembri für ihr großes Entgegenkommen und ihre Freundlichkeit herzlich bedanken. Familie Fuchs

Schönes Ferienhaus mit toller Lage zum
Strand. Aufgrund der großzügigen Terrasse kann man draußen essen und entspannen. Dabei hat man das Meer stets im Blick. Wir wurden sehr gut aufgenommen auch wenn die Kommunikation teilweise schwierig war.
Die Sauberkeit kann verbessert werden.
Insgesamt kann man das Haus nur empfehlen.

Au calme , à 500 m de la plage , parfaite pour un séjour reposant. Maison fraîche et bien équipée. Super bien située pour visiter sur la journée les villes de Ragusa, Noto, Scicli, Monica et profiter de la plage en fin de journée. Accueil parfait de Carmela ! Merci !
