Yangshuo Shanshali Resort Hotel

I stayed at the Yangshuo Shanshali Resort Hotel solo travelling through Futian, and it was without a doubt the best place along the trip. It’s located right in the heart of the Yangshuo valley, where you can easily rent an electric scooter from the hotel and roam up and down its scenic roads for only 30 Y a day. You also have nearby access to local restaurants, grocery stores, bamboo rafts, an adventure park, and you are a quick ride from West Street. The rooms were spacious, modern, thoughtfully designed and looked after and clean, complete with everything you could expect and more, like complimentary toiletries, a sitting area, a comfy bed, working AC and wifi, and even a bathtub. Mr. Cui and Mrs. Yang, the owners, worked tirelessly to make sure I was taken care of and had everything needed, using translate to answer questions always with a smile. The staff are simply lovely people, and made the experience all the more memorable. They offered fresh local fruits at breakfast like pomelo and passionfruit, and breakfast was made fresh and served warm at my convenience. There is also a lovely rooftop terrance, comfortable indoor seating area with lots of amenities and a beautiful outdoor garden.
