Lovely hotel. Gorgeous rooms with big comfy beds and black out blinds. Lovely view of the city from room and bathroom. Service was excellent. Breakfast was the best we had during our entire stay in China. Excellent selection of both chinese and western cuisine. Lovely helpful staff.
The hotel bar was overpriced (approx. €9 for a beer) and the service in the bar was very slow. We waited about 10 minutes each time we ordered beers and about 20 mins for a cocktail.

Long Yuan restaurant was good, though staff barely spoke English.
Staff barely speak English, room service did not understand anything and when the staff answering supposedly did, was extremely slow to bring an order (which tended to be wrong). The hotel was extremely noisy and restaurants are in open public spaces (indoors balconies or near the reception, with a big raucous in fact at the German restaurant). Absolutely not the place for relaxation and location ugly (terrible view from the window).
