We stayed during the winter for three nights (so very off peak for this hotel) but found the staff warm and welcoming! The New Year’s dinner was simply amazing, Rachel and her team made this family holiday very special for us, although rooms are basic they are clean, a typical older style hotel but boasting a warm and excellent restaurant and great service. The heating worked well in the rooms, the views were great of the valley below and it was extremely good value for money.
Slightly dated decor but we knew this before we arrived.

the location was very nice and there is also a very nice swimmingpool, the staff is kind and there is enough room for parking around. also there are alot of big cities in the area so if you want to go to alot of citys this is possible by car aswell as by train.
the beds were very bad and were like a brick also the restaurants around arent that good and there is alot of noice in the evening hours.
