This holiday home near Balestrate offers guests a furnished outdoor area and three large covered terraces for al fresco dining and relaxing after a day on the beautiful sandy beaches of Sicily. The location is ideal and offers easy access to some of Sicily's most culturally interesting places: the Segestane thermal baths (20 km), the Zingaro nature reserve (45 km), historic Palermo with its beautiful churches (40 km), San Vito Lo Capo the town of the Cous Cous festival (75 km) and finally Marsala, the European wine town (88 km). There are also riding stables nearby where you can book excursions on horseback.

De vakantie woning lag prima en was ruim van opzet. Het was alleen meer een woonhuis dan een vakantiewoning. Het huis was schoon maar niet erg onderhouden. De eigenaren hadden alle kasten afgesloten. Je kon dus je kleding niet in een kast hangen, of de kast zat op slot, of er hing kleding van de eigenaar. Dus de kleding moest in onze koffer blijven.
De horren waren ook oud en sloten niet meer goed , dat betekent dat er veel muggen in huis waren. Het echte probleem was het warme water en de waterdruk. Er was een heel klein straaltje in de douche. Eigenlijk konden we niet ons haar wassen. De eigenaar is een paar keer geweest, een keer met een nieuwe douchekop, maar het heeft niet geholpen. Tot het einde aan toe hadden we geen goede waterdruk en konden we bijna niet afwassen en douchen. Pas de laatste dag kwam er een professional. Dat gaf ons de indruk dat het alleen voor de volgende gasten werd opgelost en niet voor ons. Alleen de buitenlucht werkte maar die gaf koud water. Kortom prijs was niet in verhouding met de verwachtingen. Het huis was te duur voor de kwaliteit.
