What I liked most about Mestizo Hotel Tulum was the excellent value for money, especially for travelers on a budget. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and professional, and truly made a difference during our stay. The breakfast was very good and well prepared, and the Mexican-style decorations added a nice local touch to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and perfectly acceptable for a budget stay, making it a good base for exploring Tulum if you are willing to adapt.
The hotel is a bit far from the beach, so renting a bike or a scooter is almost necessary to get around comfortably. The rooms are very basic, with no luxury elements, and may not be suitable for guests expecting a high level of comfort or a resort-style experience.

Very nice stay at the hotel, the location was perfect - 5min from the "city center" with lots of shops, restaurants, bars. beach was approx. 3km away. the personal was super nice and friendly, we had good breakfast and room was cleaned daily.
the hotel is in typical Mexican style - very colorful and the paintings on the wall are amazing!!
Definitely recommend to stay here!
Wi-Fi was not really stable, the signal was poor but was OK if you need to use it for your phone only. We were missing some more sockets in the room.
