Discover the "Brunelleschi" apartment by WP Relais, situated in the heart of Florence just off the prestigious Via Tornabuoni. Located a short distance from the River Arno, this exclusive residence is located inside the historical Palazzo Berardi, dating back to the 1600s. The neighbourhood is surrounded by traditional Tuscan restaurants, high-fashion boutiques such as Gucci, Ralph Lauren and WP Store, as well as grocery and convenience stores.
The apartment, which can accommodate up to six people, occupies the second and top floors of the building and is accessible by lift. The lower floor of the apartment offers a spacious 60 square metre living area with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower, while the upper floor overlooks the living room and features a period wooden floor, a ceiling with wooden beams, and period paintings. The three peaceful bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, are located on the upper floor. The rooms are configured as one twin and two doubles.

Beautiful and unique space. Location was perfect. Was advertised as having a washing machine & elevator when we booked. No washing machine or elevator (due to construction) but was worth the climb.Highly recommend staying here.

The master bedroom was cool and dark, just the way we wanted it. Our family of 5 had plenty of bathrooms. There was a Nepresso maker and a standard coffee maker, which we enjoyed. We couldn’t find very many eating utensils- there were a few in the top rack of the dishwasher. My favorite feature of the house was the large open windows, with views of the bustling street and the Arno. The place is in a great location. As others mentioned, the master shower leaks on the floor and there isn’t a clothes washer. Overall, the place has a great ambiance and we considered it to be a good value for our family.

Traveled to Florence with family of four adults. I was excited about this property because of its historical charm but I was disappointed with the misleading description. First I had contacted the host to ensure there was a washing machine as this would be mid-way thru our trip to Italy and I wanted to wash clothes. I was assured there was a machine. The day that we were to check in, I was notified there was no working elevator and the property is on the 3rd floor so we'd have to carry luggage 3 flights. Bottom floor is always zero, so essentially 4 flights up. They also shared there would be construction during our stay (which fortunately didn't occur). Inside the property, there are more many more stairs with open railings which could be a terrible safety hazard for young children and those with mobility concerns. The bathrooms/showers are very small and we weren't able to use the overhead shower in the master as it poured water all over the bathroom floor. There are also no bidets as advertised. The wifi works only on the bottom floor of the property. After voicing several concerns about not being able to do laundry, the host allowed me to use the main laundry area for all the properties, which was also a hassle as I needed to go up and down several stairs with loads of laundry & coordinate time. The upside to the property is the location which is approx. 15-20 min. walk to all main sites. I also appreciate the old world charm of the furnishings.

The inside steps were to the bedrooms this was not clear on the property description

—1st floor bathroom toilet keeps running
— air conditioners were not very cooling
— refrigerator light bulb is flashing -may need to be replaced
