NOTE: THIS LISTING IS FOR A 3 -UNIT COMBO THAT SLEEPS UP TO 14 GUESTS Grandview Lofts is a spectacularly clean, four-unit coastal sanctuary just steps away from Grandview Beach, Encinitas California. SkyLoft & ViewLoft occupy the top floor of our complex and are interior-connected by a hotel-style passage door. Both units have their own private entrance, separate exterior deck areas, and great views. SeaLoft is located directly below SkyLoft, has the same floor plan, and both face the beautiful Pacific Ocean. (See "Gallery" for layout) Please note that this 3-unit combo does not allow more than 12 adults onsite at any given time, including visitors. Live like a local in these designer-furnished luxury condo (approx 3500 square feet) that will leave you wishing you booked a longer stay. Take in breathtaking white water and sunset views from the 3 deck areas. Grab a beach chair and walk just 1 block North to exclusive Grandview Beach and enjoy spectacular cliffs, sandy beaches, and epic surf breaks, all perfect for sunning, surfing, and people watching. And just a short walk back will take you to popular local shops & farmer's markets, coffee houses, hipster cafes, craft beer bars, award-winning restaurants, and fun nightlife. Staying home? Dim the lights, turn on the music channel, open the 3 sliding-glass doors, step onto the spacious balcony, fire up the grill, and enjoy indoor-outdoor living at the beach - SoCal style. All bedrooms feature king-size beds, and the queen-size Murphy beds in the front rooms of both SkyLoft and SeaLoft have spectacular ocean and sunset views.

A beautiful spot close to beach access.
This property was very much as advertised. Clearly, the owners made every effort to be their guests. Everything from thoughtful welcome gifts to on-site bicycles, helmets, beach chairs, beach toys etc. was available onsite.
Each unit was appointed beautifully, providing a very relaxing stay. In fact, we probably stayed at the property much more time than we usually would on vacation because it was so relaxing just being there.
We rented all three available condos and upon arrival discovered that a fourth condo in the rear of the property is both private and occupied by the property caretakers. We found them observant but not intrusive during our stay, though they were clearly interested in whether we were respecting the property as per the rental agreement.
Bottom line, this was probably one of the top properties we’ve ever contracted for a short stay and we would definitely recommend it to others. Just know that although there are four parking spaces in front of the property, only three are available to guests; one for each condo. That caused us a last minute scramble when we arrived because we had already worked out that there would be plenty of parking for our four cars, not knowing one was reserved for the caretakers. In the end, it wasn’t a big deal because we found nearby street parking when necessary.

Grandview Getaway

The three units we rented were pristine; fresh, clean, so well stocked we could have had a feast for dozens. Nice extra touches like record players and records, guitars, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Beach, which was gorgeous, was just a short walk away. It was perfect!

Simply Incredible
This was by far one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The place was beyond comfortable- both inside and out. The location and view was superb, and the access to just about every amenity you would want/ need (bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas) made this the perfect vacation.
Steve and Laura were incredible hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed. This was truly like a 5-star resort stay.

Excellent choice for a relaxing socal vacation
Place was spotless. Property owners were responsive, flexible and gracious at every opportunity. One block to a relatively quiet beach, great deck with views, well appointed kitchen and access to small gym area. If we come back to the area this will be the first place we will look to book.

A wonderful weekend at the beach!
This is the perfect beach getaway spot! The beach is stunning and only a block away, walking distance to a fantastic little donut shop, beautiful ocean views from the balcony, a garage stocked with any beach equipment you could possibly need, and the house felt clean and comfortable. My 4 year old son said that he never wanted to leave! We didn't either! Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us.

Spledid getaway
To be perfectly honest, this property was at the top of our vacation budget, but I can tell you that it was absolutely worth it. Every detail has been well thought out and the amenities are immaculate. The view alone was worth the price of admission ; ). Overall it was a great stay and the communication with the property manager was top notch along with ease of access to the unit.

Wow what a spot
What an amazing job by Jillian, the property was perfect and has an amazing location for anyone that wants to surf beacons or Grandview. They have all the right stuff for cooking and the place has an amazing view. I can't praise this spot enough.

Beach Break
We really enjoyed this property for a quick weekend trip away from the snow. High 60’s seems warm when you’re coming from 18 degrees so we enjoyed the deck morning, noon and night and walked to the beach, just steps away, for beautiful sunsets. The house is stylish and equipped with anything you can imagine from a turntable for music to beach cruisers, chairs, surfboards, etc. We walked or rode bikes to nearby markets and restaurants and just enjoyed relaxing in this home. It was a girls’ trip so shopping lured us to nearby Encinitas and the Forum shops but for the most part we liked the accommodations to a degree of not wanting to leave. Thanks Laura, Steve & Jillian for sharing SeaLoft with us!

Wonderful holiday by the beach
My wife and I rented the property with our kids and mother-in-law over Christmas. Everything about it is absolutely first class. From the easy communication with the hosts, to the beautiful furnishings and finishes, to the provisions that were provided from bikes to iPhone chargers, the owners have truly thought of everything. There are beautiful views, a short walk to the beach, and a fantastic donut shop a block away!

A surfer chic spectacular stay
Our family of 4 loved this boho-chic, nearly oceanfront property. Jillian, the property manager, was informative and went above and beyond making sure everything was just right.
The property is new and decorated in a high end surfer-chic motif. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen as well as baths. The balcony is spacious with comfortable furniture and peekaboo views of the Pacific. We loved the stocked garage full of gym equipment, surf and boogie boards, and all things beach related. We especially loved the beach cruiser bikes which we used everyday. The area is great for taking a leisurely ride with the sounds of the ocean in the background.
There were a lot of sweet little extras-such as the the lovely welcome gift basket, use of an instant Polaroid camera, binoculars, chilled drinks in the fridge upon arrival, bathroom toiletries, wireless printer and even flameless candles set to come on in the evenings. Every detail was well thought out within the property, making our stay one of our favorites in Southern California. We have rented dozens of oceanfront homes and townhouses in the Encinitas area over the past decade and even though Sealoft is not direct oceanfront, this is one of our new favorites. We will definitely return and recommended it to friends and family.

Quick Escape
We loved our stay at Sea Loft! Location is great with a quick walk to the beach. Wonderful welcome basket. We have stayed at a lot of rentals and the kitchen was absolutely one of the best stocked we ever had! Out of habit we always bring towels, umbrellas, boogies boards, chairs and a cooler...... it ALL stayed in the car. They had everything.

Same time next year? YES!
We had a fabulous week in Encinitas and this home was the perfect place for our family. Jillian was responsive to our needs, which were minimal because everything we needed was right there. We biked everyday, surfed everyday, grilled while taking in ocean views (nearly) everyday and enjoyed all that Encinitas had to offer with ease - next time we may not even rent a car. It was a special week celebrating our daughter's graduation and we could't have wished for a more delightful venue. Many thanks for the awesome memories. We will definitely be back!

Wow, what a great stay! Grandview Lofts is awesome - beautiful, light filled, organized and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a fun vacation. The outdoor amenities including bicycles, beach chairs, surfboards, are all perfect. It's obvious that a lot of care has been taken to make this a really top notch rental. The location is wonderful, we were able to walk or bike everywhere. Jillian was a pleasure to deal with, we were very happy and hope to be back!

This property is a wonderfully relaxing getaway with space and openness that lives large. Really enjoy the modern amentities, appliances, furnishings, and most importantly view of the ocean and close proximity to the beach. Hands down absolute gem and is beyond amazing.
You can expect a beautiful and spacious home with terrific amenities and location.
There is so much space, such beautiful decor, so clean! The location was great, just steps away from the ocean and close to restaurants and coffee shops. The amenities were amazing and have plenty of everything you could need/want. We really enjoyed the on site bikes which we rode in the morning to get breakfast. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it was absolutely perfect!

This place is the total package and then some. Fully equipped with everything you need for your beach vacation. Surfboards, bikes, Gym and more!
Short bike ride to shops and restaurants in Encinitas/Leucadia and a 3 minute walk to the beach and surf.
The host was responsive like your wouldn't believe. Accommodating on every request and very helpful for the area.

Out family of 5 enjoyed Thanksgiving week here. Beautifully decorated home in lovely neighborhood next to great beach. The house had everything we needed and even all that was needed for making a turkey was newly added for our arrival. The bikes and surfboards were huge hit. Great home - can’t wait to return.

One of my best VRBO stay in a long time. All aspects from responsiveness, check in and cleanliness were amazing. They owners literally thought of everything to make it a special stay.
The property manager, Jillian, was very helpful. They even provided a Welcome Basket that was very much appreciated as we checked in late and we had no food. We plan to return!

Steve & Laura's place is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you enter the home you feel comfortable and relaxed. The esquite decor, beautiful sunset views and open floor plan fill the space with light. We spent evenings on the front deck and grilled fresh fish from seaside market. We surfed the numerous neighborhood spots within walking distance or a short bike ride away. The farmers market at Paul Ecke on Sunday's is a must. We are a family of 5 and the space was absolutely perfect. It was clean and modern with a designers touch. Beautiful big succulent planters abound and gorgeous well cared for house plants made you feel right at home and extended the warmth of the space. Thank you to Jillian for her attentiveness during our stay and the friendly welcome Steve & Laura. Such wonderful host's & and a lovely home & location. I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one is by far one of the best. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you

We ventured the short jaunt from LA to North County San Diego and the vibe in this beachside town was just what we needed.
The interior pictures barely do the place justice. Everything is brand new and strikes that perfect balance of modernity and comfort. It was so nicely appointed we were tempted to just stay in and relax or get some sun on the porch, but with the provided amenities like beach cruisers, surfboards and beach chairs we were compelled to get out and explore. The place is within easy pedaling distance of tons of little retail spots, restaurants, coffee shops and an awesome farmer's market if you happen to be there on a Sunday morning.
The unit is located near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and about a 3 minute walk to beach access. You'll see the occasional surfers walk by on their way down.
We split the unit with another couple and appreciated that both of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the rooms are on opposite sides of the hallway.
We didn't use the murphy bed in the living room, but it looked cool, and there's also workout equipment and yoga mats that, suffice to say, I didn't use.
