I loved EVERYTHING about Drifters. The location is amazing. A short walk to ATM, Pharmacy and clinic, restaurants and street food everywhere you turn. The staff get 5 stars for their hospitality and excellent vibes. Johnson, Hamisi and Joseph working the bar especialy Joseph at night was so much fun and made us laugh so much. I made friends with so many people from around the world and still have contact with them now that I'm home. I had a bad rash during my stay and the guys at Drifters helped me by finding me the right cream etc from the pharmacy for me while i was out on an excursion, i am forever grateful. Their laundry service is very good. Its very trust worthy, i left all my belongings out on my bed most of the time in the dorm and nothing gets touched although i still recommend using the lockers or locks on bags, up to you. Their food is sooo good, i only had 1 time when i was disappointed but i believe they were under staffed that morning. I fell in love with the cat and dogs that visit regularly, i fed them daily and they are soooo friendly and cuddly it was so sad to leave them behind. The staff can arrange excursions for you if you ask. At night time you can use their big Bluetooth speaker to play your own music and get the party started! There is entertainment everyday on the beach (be sure to give the gymnastics boys a tip 👌) there are night clubs near by too.
I will be coming back, i enjoyed it so much and it's very affordable!
The showers and toilets for the mixed dorm really need fixing up, i didn't like using them and every time i went to use the toilet, the toilet roll was soaking wet. I would just use the female dorm toilet (i am female).
I would need to remind the bar staff of my food orders because they do forget, i waited an hour for breakfast 1 morning and found out they didn't even put in my order, i think they were having a bad day that day, but they are very slow serving (can be quite annoying)

Great location! So many restaurants nearby, beach is right there. They have a WhatsApp number and you can message for all activities, taxis, whatever! Super helpful. Music dims down after 10:30-11ish so was a very peaceful sleep
The bar staff weren’t the most approachable, leaving me feel a little bit of an inconvenience if I had any questions.

Lovely hostel in a fab location on the most beautiful part of paje beach, with a pool overlooking the sea. Welcoming staff and a great social vibe with bonfires a couple nights a week. Loved it so much I came back 2 weeks later to stay again! Definitely the place to stay in Paje!!

Stunning location. Really cute properties. Gorgeous staff.
Mosquito nets were full of holes and we were eaten alive. Staff were very sympathetic but I checked out early.
