About this condo rental

Situated in Milan, this charming condo for $273 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Quite and soundproof flat with fast wifi connection, at the 5th and last floor with elevator, air conditioning in each room and central heating. It can host 4 people in 2 separate rooms with comfortable beds, and 2 baths. STRATEGIC LOCATION; the best solution for daily trips: Centrale Railway Station and Fashion District are in 5 min. by public transport or 10 min. walking. It is at the beginning of Corso Buenos Aires, a neighbourhood full of shops, grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. The underground station Porta Venezia is out of the building; it takes to Duomo, Castle, Stadium and Airport trains. Rho Fiera Milano in 19 min. Como lake in 1 hour. The Space "Milano Porta Venezia" (MPV ) is a 55 square meters completely renovated apartment: modern amenities with vintage charme! It consists of a kitchen/living-room with balcony (very useful for smokers) and a corridor that takes to the independent night area. The corridor leads to 2 separate bed-rooms and to the bathrooms. It is soundproof, so you will not hear any noise and sounds and you will not be waked by morning sun light because metal shutters block it out. "Milano Porta Venezia” ( MPV) is your ideal starting point for any urban and suburban itineraries; it is a fantastic location: nestled perfectly between the cathedral/Duomo (4 min.) and Centrale railway Station (5 minutes) where there are shuttle buses connecting directly to Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports. A 10 minutes walk, or with the nearby bike-sharing, you can get to the famous “Quadrilatero della Moda” (Fashion District) in the heart of the city, maybe with a stop by the historical Porta Venezia gardens. These can be used for outdoor physical activities and to make children play. The fastest way (19 minutes) to visit Rho Fiera is the “Passante Ferroviario” (Railway Bypass): its station is right in front of “your” apartment, and it is called, needless to say, Milano Porta Venezia. Como lakes can be reached in less than one hour. Outlet Serravalle Scrivia is connected by a shuttle that stops out of the building. MPV is the perfect apartment for holidays, business trips, shopping week-ends, Fashion and Design week, furniture exibition week, even for families with children. Guest Access Guests will be welcomed by the owner at the main entrance of the building in the street. They can make use of the entire apartment and can enjoy all its comforts. Fresh and quality ingredients are available for immediate needs. In case of vegetarian diet or gluten, lactose, egg intolerance, specific food will be provided, upon notification when booking. Interaction with Guests The owner is present at check in and check out. Check in and check out time can be flexible if there isn't a departure or an arrival in the same day (the apartment needs time to be cleaned!). In any case luggage can be dropped off. The owner will be available during all your staying for suggestions and advices; she enjoys meeting all her guests, but she respects their privacy and space as well. Please, feel free to interact with her as much or as little as you would like to. The Neighbourhood From "Milano Porta Venezia" you can explore and experience Milan comfortably and in style! The "shopping street" district has a colorful and diverse nature. To be a central district, it has indeed its own strong identity: just take a look at Via Panfilo Castaldi, and you will see a glorious road that opens like a theater scene with the nineteenth-century banner of the historical hat shop, or try also to go to the Popolare bookshop in Tadino street. As the writer Giorgio Fontana says: "Porta Venezia is “a little happy island in many large streets ". Now the district is evolving in an interesting way: hipster locations appear more and more. It is a neighborhood that has a heart; a heart that beats many different rhythms. It has fantastic craft shops, cafes and restaurants with great chefs for all tastes and budgets. Here you can eat both cooked and raw food, vegetarian and organic menus and, of course, delicious courses of the Italian and Milanese tradition! My family and I stayed here and it was perfect! Maria was an incredible host. She was friendly, sweet, helpful and great at communicating with us. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and things we didn’t even know we needed. We will definitely book this property for our next trip to Milan. Thank you, Maria!

Maria Theresa and her husband were delightful hosts. Suffice it to say that all of the accolades mentioned in the reviews over the past several years remain well-deserved. I highly recommend this accommodation and am looking forward to my next visit. I think this property is particularly well-suited for first time visitors to Milan given its strategic location, access to multiple transportation nodes, wealth of amenities in the immediate area and Maria Theresa's expert guidance. Also, for those who may be sensitive to cigarette smoke, I am glad to report that I had no issues even though technically smoking is permitted on the balconies. You really can't go wrong staying here.

We were visiting Milan for a few days and decided to stay at Maria’s VRBO. Best decision as it was close to all transportation, shopping, easy walks to the center of town and the apt and Maria were both great. Having a washing machine was helpful as well. Would definitely come back. Only thing to note that it’s truly a one bedroom with a really nice sofa bed in a larger living room. We didn’t mind that as it was just the two of us.

Excellent apartment in central Milan
Excellent apartment in central Milan
We had a great time in this apartment. The quality was better than we expected with a tastefully decorated top-floor apartment that has everything you need. The local area is right in the middle of a buzzing shopping area and there are many excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, and lots of public transport options. Maria Teresa was an excellent host, providing us with lots of information and being generally very friendly and helpful. Grazie mille!

An Excellent Place to Stay in Milano!
An Excellent Place to Stay in Milano!
My two lady friends and I were very comfortable staying at Maria Therese’s property. The location was great for us - we walked and/or used the metro which is practically right outside the apartment door. Although we didn’t use all the appliances available we were glad they were there. The washing machine was very easy to use and that was a bonus for us. Maria herself was the best of hostesses. She met us and explained everything about the place, gave us advice and suggestions for restaurants, and offered to help us with connections to the airport upon leaving. We didn’t need that though as we had a car service but it is good for renters to know beforehand. She offered much help and was available by chat on WhatsApp which was very handy for us. She also met us just prior to our departure and helped us downstairs with our luggage. The apartment is 5th floor but there is a little elevator that proved very dependable. If I ever returned to Milano I would not hesitate to rent with her again. Thank you - gracias - Maria.

The property looks just as advertised and was impeccably clean. Maria Teresa was a fabulous host, spending a good amount of time with us upon check in to help us plan our itinerary, figure out transportation, and make recommendations for our dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten free). The apt had everything we needed for our family of 4. It is directly in front of a subway station and a tram, so very easy access to anywhere in Milan. It is on a main street with many shops, restaurants, stores on the same block and many more within a few blocks. It's on the 5th floor, but there is a 2-person lift if this is an issue for you (it wasn't for us). Also, while the apt is on a main street, the noise cancelling doors are pretty amazing, but don't expect it to be country quiet at night (you'll hear some traffic/trains-you're in the city after all). We loved people watching off the 2 balconies. Maria Teresa arranged pickup for us from Malpensa and a taxi to the train station for our departure. It was a great experience. Really, we couldn't have asked for more on our first visit to Milano.
