Property itself was really good. I'd give it a lick of paint - but that's me! Nice quiet location and only a few mins walk into the thick of it. Our host, Cosimo, was a nice, helpful chap. Only niggle with the check-in, was Cosimo said he would be waiting. But when you arrive you can't get in (obviously) and there's no info to which door bell to press.

Great apartment in a wonderful city

This is large, beautiful apartment in a residential area but easy walk to everything in Florence. The only problem was substandard housekeeping. The apartment needed a thorough cleaning and the highlight was the shower, which was covered with black mold. To his credit, the owner came on a Sunday to try to clean it, but it was clear he didn't really see a problem. Also doesn't get that rental apartment should have hand soap, toilet paper and dish towel. Nice person, though. Just needs a better housekeeper.
