CRYSTAL SUITE is located on the first floor (around 15 steps, without lift) of Palazzo From Magnale, an elegant, historic 16-th century building, located in a superb area of Florence, few steps from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. It is in fact situated in one of the most impressive and most magnificent square in Florence, Santa Maria Novella square.
The apartment (around 65 square meter) is a wonderful, elegant and bright open space, composed by an hallway Which goes to the living area, a modern and well equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) with a round dining table for 4 persons. The living room, bright and spacious, is furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, an armchair and digital TV.
On this floor you find the first bathroom, modern and elegant. The walls of the bathroom are covered by a wonderful red Venice "filler" as well as the shower.
Through a modern crystal staircase you reach the sleeping area with a queen size bed and a marvelous crystal bathroom, a really objet d'art! On a corner of the bedroom there is even a stationary bicycle.
The apartment has a wonderful paneled frescoed ceiling.
The apartment has a washing machine and a dryer machine shared with another apartment
In the apartment there is a very useful closet.

We thought the location was perfect. Clean home with very nice hosts. You should know the “first floor” means 2 stairways up without a lift. There’s a reason they give earplugs next to the bed…due to the active nightlife and thin windows. Liked that they had 2 bathrooms, large fridge and a shared washer/dryer. Very helpful! And even though the apartment looked very modern..the glass bathroom and glass railing was not ideal and can present a hazard. Not good for little ones or the elderly.

Great place in the heart of Florence with plenty of excellent restaurants all within a short walk. The place was very clean and our hostess was very friendly and everything was explained well to us.

Our hosts, Mariangela and Francesca, couldn't have been more wonderful. The communication was amazing, from the start, and they were incredibly thoughtful, kind and accommodating. They made everything about our stay in Florence stress-free so that we could simply enjoy our time in Florence...which we absolutely did. The apartment is in a perfect location, especially if you're arriving by train, since it's only a 5 minute walk from the SMN Train Station. It's close to everything, and there are some great restaurants, coffee shops, gelato shops and even a grocery store within a few blocks. And the apartment was beautiful and extremely comfortable, and it had everything we could possibly need or want. We will definitely plan to stay there again on our next trip to Florence.
