A really beautiful hotel right in the historic centre of Datong. Staff were friendly and welcoming and helped organise a driver for a day exploring the Hanging Temple and Grottoes, which was great. Rooms are really comfortable and have all the facilities you could possibly need. Good choice for breakfast and they even provide breakfast for you when you get up early to head out for day trips. Hotel close to all the main sites in Datong, everything is within easy walking distance. Really enjoyed my stay in Datong and was happy to have chosen this hotel.

Calm, clean, pleasant surroundings. Beautiful light room, large bathroom. Good coffee.
I couldn’t leave the air conditioning going because it operated from my room key, which meant I came back to a hot stuffy room each time I went out. But that wasn’t a deal breaker. Lovely hotel in a great location.

The hotel’s property and location are value for money. Location is super central and surrounded with many good restaurants and eateries, and close to many attractions. Hotel staffs are super kind and nice, always provide help when needed, from ordering food to recommending good places to visit. Highly recommend!
