Brid was a fabulous host who was very welcoming from the start of our trip. As soon as we arrived she told us some bits

Excellent stay at Saoirse Cottage and a very welcoming host.

Saoirse Cottage was ideal for us as a couple. Brid met us on our arrival, showed us around the cottage and told us about local shops, pubs and attractions, she was very welcoming. The cottage had everything you could need for a short or long stay. I particularly liked that there was a washing machine, clothes horse for drying and an iron and ironing board as it meant we came home with very little washing. The parking was great and there is a lovely garden to sit out in the evening or have your breakfast in the morning. The location was only a very short drive into Killarney town and was a great base for travelling around the area. I would definitely book again if we were going to be in Killarney again.

Great stay outside Killarney

Large living and bedroom. There were all kinds of facilities available (dishwasher, oven, washing machine, fridge) and even some supplies of tea, coffee, specimens, oil etc. Nice surroundings.

After we discovered how to use GPS for this area, we found the location was great- not 20 km from everything: Only 6 km's. Get directions to next large city...killarney. Fine base to go to various locations. Good wifi. Good TV selection.

The layout of the facility doesn't take advantage of the space. It's my fault I didn't notice "no dryer"...a drying rack is fine for some- not for me. I could have used a real chest of drawers instead of a two-shelf thing that could not hold my clothes. Heavily- painted particle board floor? Over priced for the accomodations. Could not turn off the bathroom lights

A really lovely cottage.

The lady met us at the cottage and was lovely. The little cottage is as advertised. The lounge area is delightful. The bathroom is very modern. There was plenty of coal and wood to have the fire going as well as gas heating. Washing machine provided and a clothes horse as well to dry inside. It's very warm and in a quiet rural location. Perfect for a nice quiet visit.

Was a bit hard to find. The GPS wasn't keen on the location. Better directions would be handy. The kitchen was a bit run down, and the utensils were all a bit dated, but everything worked and was very clean.

We chose this place because of the high rating. Unfortunately these are not my standards of cleanliness. I attach photos. I would not greet my guest in this way. -dirty ash tray,dirty cooker and fridge, We could not even make a coffee because was nothing,and sugar container was also dirty. Pots scratched and unusable..:(.A lot of spiderwebs...

Lovely pet friendly property in secluded location

A very spacious property in a secluded location, 10 min drive from Killarney. Brid’s communication was great in advance and she met us at the property and gave us useful information about the surrounding area. The bathroom was really luxurious.

The charge of €15 per pet, per night seems a little excessive. Also, some of the kitchen equipment (e.g. the over) perhaps needs updating.

Bathroom door too squeaky! Cooker and fridge should be improved Sat nav took us in a very roundabout way! Not fault if owner though

The property was spacious, with great amenities, safe parking and fenced in garden which my dog loved being able to explore safely . It was a peaceful spot with a short drive to the town. Loved my stay here and would recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful and cosy break away without the time schedule of a hotel stay.

Lovely place!

A lovely, quiet place. Very good for pets, there is a lot of space and everything is safe and secure. The cottage is very warm and clean. Modern bathroom. Everything you need for a few days trip, kitchen equipment, washing machine, dishwasher. TV. The owner was very friendly, waiting for us with a gift for a dog. A very nice and helpful person. Thank you very much for a fantastic time in your cottage. Dorota.

5 mins from SuperValu. Quick in and out of town. Very quiet. Perfect for dogs. Very secure fencing. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is brand spanking new and modern. Wifi works perfectly and it had everything you need. Brid even left a gift bag for our dogs!

Excellent base for touring the area, clean ,comfortable there have been comments about the parking being tight, I drive a Range Rover and didn’t have a problem.

We really enjoyed our stay at saoirse cottage.Fantastic location just a 10 minute drive from killarney and perfect for our 2 dogs (garden is secure for them to run about). Would definitely stay here again. Brid was an excellent host
