Most of the properties on the sea front were derelict and for sale (but no actively) 1 pass property so 70% of properties on the sea front not adding anything to the community.

A lovely inn. There is not much to see and do in Waterville but the food and ice cream are exceptional and the service here very good. It was more pricey and I thought it would be more of a resort type hotel but it was better than any place we’ve stayed in Ireland and we would probably stay here again.
The town is very small. My husband had a good day playing golf while o sat in a lovely lobby and read a book. Very relaxing.

Bedroom was very clean and airy with a lovely view of the sea but no hot water on the first two nights
Breakfast disappointing - no fruit provided - poached eggs were stringy . Menu limited - buffet breakfast would have been better
