Lovely staff! They have a great bar/restaurant with yummy food and good prices. They help organise tours and it works well if you can find other people to split the boat with. You can also rent a kayak to go and visit the plane on the other side. Room was large. Hot showers. Nice view. Private and public transport options available to coron town/airport
We didn’t mind, but others might find it difficult to only have wifi in the reception.

The hotel is beautifully located with sea views on each side. The lady at the reception was lovely and helpful. The room was spacious with large windows.
The place needs more maintenance and care. No wifi in the room, only at the restaurant and by the reception - worth noting those two places are covered but not indoor so they are not comfortable in bad weather. The hotel is remote with limited options to eat elsewhere in the area and the food was average.

Amazing welcome from all the staff, nothing was ever too much trouble. Little touches, like my name skillfully written on the blackboard to welcome us.
Fabulous room, spectacular! The smell of fresh laundry and the overall cleanliness blew us away. Huge Kingsize bed.
Only 14 villas, so a small intimate experience and the views... OMG stunning.
Rented a kayak to visit the abandoned sea plane. Happy hour 3pm-8pm with complimentary nibbles, bottles of cool drinking water delivered to our pool-side loungers..... Did I mention the views! :)
This is not criticism, but constructive feedback. We didn't know there was a dive centre, perhaps sending a link to all activities prior to arrival or more information in the room. Also, more information on massage and beauty treatments.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marina de Sol. Rooms are not the cheapest in the area but you get good value as the room and facilities were great, pool, paddle board, snorkelling, kayak (their kayak even has cushions!). The food was very good and everything was reasonably priced (drinks, massage, tours etc..)
We took a private island tour (we did black island - highly recommended) everything was prepared for us by the tour guide (towels, snorkelling gear, food, drinks). They also provide massage service at your room (the masseuse was very good). They even had a full moon dining experience the night before, which unfortunately we missed out on.
The service we had was excellent and very professional. Rica and her team really did a great job making us feel welcomed and assisting us with everything we need. We would definitely be back again
WiFi was only accesible from the reception area. I wish they could install some WiFi extenders so you have WiFi access throughout the hotel!

Food was okay but we had better in other locations. Accomodation was perfect except that we had sometimes no water for a short time. Windows were dirty but that is a very minor point to complain.

Incredible location, amazing view from the private terrace. The room is spacious and beautiful, the staff is responsive and nice, the breakfast is really good and the activities easy to organise !

Beautiful property with stunning views of the water and other islands. The villas are well designed à la Santorini with white walls, many picture windows with amazing views and plenty of spots to chill and read/sleep. We stayed at the Bay Villa above the reception, which we highly recommend. The staff (Rica and Nica) at the reception were very helpful in arranging dives, island tours and massages (highly recommend). Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights here and will definitely be back 😃

The staff there is incredible. We stayed over Christmas and they were super friendly with us, despite they were working during public holiday. The rooms and bathroom we stayed in were pretty big and comfortable! The swimming pool is cool and they rent SUP and Kayak to explore the surrounding mangroves, beautiful, totally recommended. The dive centre is also downstaris from the resort, so perfect for divers!
The place is very secluded. If you get there by public transport or taxi, you are basically stuck there (which is not a bad thing for 1 or 2 days). Also, there are many gecko's poos in the room, every hour you find some new ones... not sure if there is anything to do for this matter, really, as it's just mother nature :)

The property is set In a beautiful location and is very tranquil. You enjoy all your meals at the accommodation as there is not much else around, unless you choose to hire a scooter. We enjoyed the free kayaking and the surrounds of the resort.
Unfortunately we were delayed in Manila by 48 hours and spent 2 days sitting in the domestic terminal due to aircraft problems, thus missing 2 nights of our accommodation. whilst it was not the resorts fault, I did ask for a partial refund of just 1 night to compensate the extra money we were spending before arriving and also the missed nights at the resort. Although they did offer a small boat to the beach one afternoon, it would have been greatly appreciated if a small F&B voucher were given, a discounted transfer from the airport, or 1 night of accom be reimbursed. It was a shame to miss 2 nights and also to only have 1 day there. In the past when this has occurred other accommodations have added a little something to make a less desired situation feel a little more warm and hospitable. For this reason, I would only book the accommodation again if I was already in Coron, to ensure we wouldn’t be out of pocket 2 nights.

the location, facilities, stunning views of the sea and the lagoon. Best staff in Coron, they are all so wonderful, friendly and the restaurant serves delicious food. we organised a lot of activities thanks to the resort.
some of the rooms could that overlook the lagoon have very thin walls so you can hear everything on the otherside.

secluded and relaxing stay. great breakfast to start the day, use of kayaks for the lagoon and the pool was lovely. the double room was nice, but we did have hot water issues. we were then upgraded to a villa which was stunning!
transfer should be complementary due to isolated location. had some hot water issues but these were fixed after a while. the food in the restaurant could have been better, some meals not so good. there could be offers at the bar/restaurant to keep people in the hotel as it was very quiet on an evening.

The hotel is beautiful and the location as well. The room is very cozy and warm, it has this Mediterranean style that my husband and I love.
The prices they offer at the resort are a bit pricey, from the tours to the food and drinks. Also, some staff members were not very professional. My husband and I wanted to book a tour with a boat and they initially gave us the price (not cheap really...) of a boat for 24 pax. When they realized we were not interested, then they told us that they also had a smaller boat, but this was not their initial suggestion and we did not like the feeling of being fooled. We also think the food could be improved, specially considering how much you pay, in particular for the breakfast. Finally, something else that we did not like was that we rented a motorbike and they gave it to us with a tyre that was deflated and we realized later because we started to feel that it was not safe! If you pay 500 pesos for a motorbike a day, you at least expect it to be in good conditions, not dangerous!

The staff was nice
The pictures make it look better than it is. it was very outdated. Also there were lots of bugs in the hotel room, due to it being an open room with some windows, but also had wood shutters that allowed bugs to come in. not very comfortable. There were lots of stairs that would seem difficult to walk on if I were drinking. overall wasn’t satisfied.

Its our 10th night in Philippines now as I write this review. Marina Del Sol was the most prominent in our opinion!! We spent 3 nights there and we didnt want to leave. Marina Del Sol is located on the highway between Busuanga and Coron Town.
Its strategic location make it suitable all
year regardless of the moon soon weather. Receptionist Kim, Handyman (forgot his name)
and Karissa were amazing!! Kim helped us to coordinate ALL our requests and bookings. She was sweet, professional and extremely kind.
Even on the night we rode back in the rain from Coron town, she was awaiting us with 2 towels at the reception and kept whatsapping me to check in except I had no data. Karissa was superb and friendly too. She would remember our usual orders and was always approaching us with a smile on her face. We love Adobo fried rice. I particularly love their fresh mango and banana juice. Portions at the restaurant are huge too.
Rooms were spacious and cosy just like the pictures!! We loved the views from our room staring out at the bay in the cozy rain... We did notice a few gecko's poo upon check in, and was quickly cleaned up spotless right after. Wifi literally doesnt work anywhere for us in the room except at reception, our telecom
company SMART doesnt work either but thats the fun of it!!
Diving with Guntur was exceptional! He manages D'divers and was very experienced in the sites and making us feel safe. Eden his wife was very friendly and hospitable and we would love to visit her farm one day! Thank you everyone! Sylvia and Nikk.

The staff were very helpful and the resort was very lovely. The interior of the villa reminded me of Santorini. The restaurant offers lots of variety from vegetarian to meat/seafood diners. I enjoyed the welcome drink and the Happy hour promo too.
I didn't like that the wifi was weak in the common area. I wished they had cable tv to entertain the guests at night.

The location is breathtaking - the resort is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. Pool is fantastic and the set-up of the restaurant is great. Gunter, Monique and Freddie from the dive center were really wonderful - we had a great experience diving the wrecks with them.
Menu options are a bit limited, especially for breakfast. Would be helpful to have a hairdryer in the room as well as something for the mosquitoes. The transfer to and from the resort was expensive and we decided to find another option for our return.

The views are beautiful here and the sunsets are just as amazing! The staff are amazing! Super friendly and because it was my birthday they also surprised me with a cake. So thoughtful of them. I liked that they had Filipino dishes on the menu and kept it authentic.
Honestly the staff made this place. When we arrived our names were on the black board hand written and we got handed with some welcome drinks which is cute.
Super helpful and just the caring and warm vibes that the staff had made this place extra special for us.

They also have plenty of things to book and you can hire a scooter etc.
They also have a pool & access to food all day till night.
Look the location is far from Coron town. So when booking this place I didn’t look into how far it really was. I really liked the views on booking.com compared to Coron hotels. So just keep that in mind - Only because we wanted to see the town as we only had a few days to see everything. I am sad that I didn’t get to see more of Busaunga. I hear this area is also very beautiful.
If I was to come back I’ll definitely rebook there to see Busaunga area.
We hired a motorbike which is cheaper than getting a taxi repeatedly which could cost a lot if you do not ride.
Also there’s no Tv or wifi if you were that type to watch tv on holidays or needed internet you must have a Filipino sim but In saying that no need for a tv as you should be going island hopping anyways!
Remember it’s a tropical island so you’ll def hear or see some Geckos. They are harmless though.

Can’t imagine there’s a better place on the island. The staff, location, facilities and food are faultless. A 40 minute drive from the town centre which we loved because you get to see the island, stay in an area that not a lot of people will see and have the peace of nature around you. Would return in a heartbeat.

An amazing property with spectacular views out over the water. My villa had some great vistas from the bed, the shower, and even the toilet. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The pool and private pier make it easy to get out onto the water for activities like boat tours and kayaking excursions. There's a cool abandoned sea plane and a shipwreck that are easily accessible by kayak or standup paddle board.
The property is being restored from its former life, so there's still a bit of work to be done to bring the rooms up to date. Some power outlets weren't working and some of the closet doors wouldn't open and close smoothly. Just some kinks to iron out as the management brings this place back to its former glory. The other thing to consider is the remote location of the property. It's away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns like Coron, so access to transportation, restaurants, and ATMs is more difficult. It's also a (not cheap) 45 minute car ride to the airport, but well worth the hassle in my opinion.

Great hotel in an amazing location overlooking a beautiful bay. Even though I was looking out the 'back side' of the hotel, I still had a stunning view of water and a hilly landscape.
The room could use a little more updating. Some outlets and lights weren't working.
