Chindonan Dive and Beach Resort

De ligging voor de wrakduiken is perfect, slechts ongeveer 10 minuten met speedboot. Matts weet alles van de wrakken en kent ze erg goed van binnen wat zeer belangrijk is. Het is namelijk een doolhof. Je moet wel een ervaren duiker zijn. Het resort wordt momenteel opgeknapt, kamers zijn ruim en luxe wel sommige details op zijn Filippijns. Bedden zijn prima, douche heel ruim. Kamer ook. Groot balcon met zeezicht. Het eten is goed, mensen erg vriendelijk. Mooi klein strandje om na de duiken te relaxen. Vervoer heen en terug wordt door het resort geregeld, ging prima. Je kunt er met creditcard betalen.

purtroppo c’erano dei lavori in corso e il tutto era rumoroso e a volte fastidioso. se prenotate informatevi sui lavori. una volta finiti i lavori il posto è perfetto.

They are expanding by adding more rooms and a pool so that was noisy but should be done by end of 2026

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The building itself is very outdated but our room seemed updated. The bed was comfortable. The dinner at night was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was ok. We ordered a bottle of wine which was $42! A bit steep for the location. The diving proximity to the shipwrecks is amazing. The dive staff is a patchwork of people who are coming in to fill the position that seem to be variable in training and safety focus. I had a French dive guide who was very good but he was only there for one more week.

This was tagged as 5 star PADI resort. It was not. We had no hot showers. Even when they fixed it was lukewarm at best. Electricity would go our unexpectedly. The balcony door would not lock. The safe in the room was broken and never replaced. While it is in the fine print. Please know that there will be extras. The airport to the ferry van ride will be charged to you. As well as the boat ride from the pier to the hotel. Also, the time of day that the boat is going to be arranged will be different without your notice. So while it may sound like a good deal, all expenses add up and for that I do not believe it was fair pricing. Also the dive equipment is old and outdated and it seems to me that most were not safety focused.
