Great shared kitchen, room had great airflow, wifi, desk - everything worked - which is not to be taken for granted in Bali. There was always drinking water and cooking gas. Shade, lovely garden and atmosphere, consistent hot showers, very clean, sweet staff. Some lovely traditional wooden architecture - kayu tua indeed.
Location is perfect - good access to shops, market, restaurants, beaches, but tucked away on a quiet street away from traffic.
The owners live there and are such lovely, kind people. They take care of their place with pride and it shows. I would 100% stay again, but I would book with them directly.
My only fear is that if I tell everyone how good this place is, it will be full next time I want to stay!

The rooms are spacious, with plenty of space to organize your clothes & good air con.The location is in a quiet area of Uluwatu, but it’s just a short scooter ride to all the main spots. The shared area has everything you could ask for, especially if you’re traveling long-term and want to cook your own meals or relax by the pool table. Not to mention the owners, who are absolutely lovely and make you feel right at home!

Super worth it for its price. It's located in a quiet neighborhood which could get really quiet and dark at night. I had a really peaceful stay here and would definitely have loved to extend it.
The bathroom is really nice and clean but there's no water heater in the shower.

Kitchen facilities were better than most, for this type of accommodation. Kitchen and eating tables were under shelter and could be accessed without getting wet when raining.
The accommodation was clean but very basic. There was nowhere to hang clothes, and no hooks for towels. The external doors were not solid -- they had open slats, so there was no protection from bugs and mosquitoes. Also our rooms were next to the pool and kitchen, so we felt there was little privacy, and no protection from noise.
