About this house rental
Located in Sicily, this attractive house for $132 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Delightful little cottage attached to a private ciountry-house situated in a tipical sicilian garden rich with olive-trees, agaves, and palms, a stone's throw away from the natural reserve of "The Zingaro" and tonnara of Scopello. The cottage consists in a two-rooms appartment, divided into a spacious living-room with an open fully equipped kitchen (all appliances, satellite TV and cabinets/wardrobe space)little bedroom-queen size bed- bathroom with shower. Outside, the cottage is surrounded by luxuriant vegetation , and in front there is a private patio with barbecue, facilities, dining table and sun beds, also an extra bathroom with shower.Private access to the delightful seaside, surrounded by rocky landscape (no further than 30 meters). The village of Scopello is one KM away and the town of Castellammare del Golfo is about 8 KM far. It's an absolutely marvellous place which guarantees silence and privacy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful peaceful get away. Though the cabin is small and cooking facilities limited it was perfect for the two of us . We appreciated the security gate access and the private seaside access. While there are 125 steps down to the sea it was worth very bit is exercise to swim in that beautiful sea. There are several ropes that do require replacement on the trek down and we would urge you to bring water shoes . We would have our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the sea every morning - then a swim - what ever afternoon exploring adventure we had planned - back to our oasis - Apero Spritzer- nap - dinner -watch the stars appear on our patio . Total relaxation.
There is a wonderful garden market just down the road that not only supplies fresh vegetable's / oils/honey/lunch they also serve dinner ! Grocery market / pharmacy on the same road.
It was easy access to Trapani - Palermo airport - two beaches close by with chair and umbrella rental available .
Hanni and her handy man Cipriano made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable . We would not hesitate to book here once again .

My partner and I had the best time!! We wanted to spend sone relaxing time away from any trouble and found exactly that at Giovannas oasis. The private sea access is incredible and the hosts are heartwarming. You have a cute supermarket just 2 minutes away with authentic italian food. We spent a fantastic week at this property. The house has everything you need and we spent all our time on one of the terraces with views over the beautiful cove. We loved the private access down to the beach, and snorkeling along the rocky coast.
Hanni made us feel so welcome and was just a fantastic host. She was always happy to help with advice or just to have a nice chat. We hope to come back soon.

We absolutely loved our three night stay at Giovanna’s place. It is basically in Scopello, the shops and beach being a one minute drive north, and the southern entrance to Zingaro less than ten minutes. The house is situated up on the cliffs overlooking the marvellous Sicilian coast and Tyrrhenian Sea. There is a private staircase down to the water where we had ritual morning and late afternoon swims. Expect mesmerising sunsets and sunrises. The house itself is simple and cozy, but was adequate, particularly given we spent most of out time outdoors. THe kitchen is basic, but we still cooked three delicious dinners. Giovanna is the sweetest host who met us personally at check-in, and kissed us goodbye at checkout. Can’t recommend this place more.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! From the sweet Giovanna to the gorgeous view and private access to crystal clear water! There was even a puppy to play with bonus!! The cottage was quaint and very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Fantastic location too! The cottage itself is cute and the location few meters from the sea is perfect. For those who love very quiet area and beautiful swimming in a cristal clear water (even at night with the only stars’ light !), this is the place to be! And the hostess is very kind and helpful. Wonderful days in this scenic place!

A great stay at Scopello
It was a true pleasure spending 4 nights at Hanni’s Cottage. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, and appointed with all the amenities for a very enjoyable stay. It’s perfectly located on a large parcel of land that is part of the coastline of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and a five minute drive to either Scopello or the Zingaro Nature Reserve. You have two patio’s which you can spend hours enjoying the views over a bottle(s) of wine, and your own access to a secluded private section of the coastline with very easy access to great swimming. There’s a ladder embedded in the rocks that allows for easy entry and exit from the water. It is peaceful, private and the views are unbeatable. Hanni is charming, and graceful, and was a very kind host. Communication while booking and leading up to our stay was very easy, and the check-in was a breeze. Hanni’s cottage is a real gem and when the time came it was hard to leave. We recommend staying at Hanni’s Cottage.

Fantastic overall experience!
The location is absolutely perfect, within the well preserved nature and at the very waterfront. First, you are hit by the breath-taking view, from the patio as well as from inside the cottage. Following the charming stairs down the cliff you will very soon reach a private ledge/patio with sunbeds right by the clear blue water. The proximity and the privacy makes the lazy days even more comfortable. The cottage itself is cozy and holds all the necessary amenities. A couple of minutes away you will find a boutique with the most delicious italian delicacies, perfect for lunch at home or on the day-trip. The hosts are nothing but lovely. Kind, service-minded, genuine and generally warmhearted persons making the stay simply wonderful.
We highly recommend this accomodation and we are very grateful for discovering this jewel.

What can I say? The cottage and location are perfect. Hanni was a lovely host who made us feel right at home. Access to the water was amazing - it was too chilly for us to swim in November, but the private space by the water was perfect for reading with a cup of coffee. The cottage is attached to the main house, where Hanni lives, but we felt complete privacy. It's a 5 minute drive to Scopello town and a 10 minute drive to the Zingaro reserve, which I highly recommend.
