In future never select it.

Breakfast average.

Noisy environment around. Difficult to sleep if not taking pills. Check breakfast on applying, it will appear to be included but in final confirmation not. Washroom shower not fixed. Door handle lock, difficult working.

Great location, welcome and breakfast. Room was exactly what we needed. Couldn't recommend enough!!

The welcome couldn't have been better, and the breakfast was fantastic. Very accommodating and arranged breakfast earlier than the normal breakfast time as we had to leave early for an event.

Friendly owner and delicious breakfast. New painted walls in the entrance.

The room to the street is very, very loud: much traffic, live music from the pub, steps in the night from the upper room.

The Anchorage Guest House was a great place to stay because of its central location.

Breakfast was excellent and our host, Michael, was incredibly friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of noise at night since the lodging was close to some bars and pubs.

Great location in Waterford!

Unfortunately, we needed to get on the road early and did not stay for Breakfast. Still, it was offered as an extra. The Inn was across the street from a car park and conveniently located to pubs and restaurants. It was just what we needed for the night!

Very poor

Room very sparsely furnished, below average bathroom, steep stairs, main part of ground floor doing decorated at the time of our stay.

Nearly everything. The bed was comfortable but the bedcovers were sparse.

Close to town but disappointing

Breakfast was well cooked and plentiful.

The guest house was on a busy main road so there was a lot of noise. There was also a persistent internal noise which meant sleeping was difficult. the guest house was being decorated so lots of wet paint and fumes and no notification of this in advance. Roller bind was home made and difficult to use.

Convnient and comfortable. A good base for exploring Waterford

The location was great - right at the Quays and our particular room had views of the River Suir. The accommodation was comfortable and seemed to have everything we needed. This review is for an extension, s we were more than happy to stay and extra night and would be happy to stay again.

Nicks stay

The bed was comfortable and slept well. Heating came on when needed.

Location near all shops in city. My room had great views of the cliffs and river Suir.

Noisy, no heating at night

location seemed central

They turn the heating off centrally from 10pm to 7.30am and no way they would turn it back on. With single glazing and almost 0 degrees outside it got really cold for me and the kids. not very friendly or helpful response from management and no solution offered. Became patronising when I asked for heating. Some rooms are street facing and noisy during the night

Makes faulty towers look 5 star

Good location

Reaked of smoke, the ancient windows rattled from the noise outside from the pub down the road. Music non stop outside until 1am and sounds like you are in the pub because the windows are so bad. Walls are paper thin and at 4.30am had to ask room next door twice to shut up. No staff on site during the night. Sheets didn't fit the beds. Shelf fell off the wall.

Fine for a 2 star but lack of sleep ruined it.

Brilliant breakfast and shower. Room and bathroom clean. Our host.

Our room was at the front of the house directly onto the main road and it was VERY noisy. As i forgot the ear plugs both of us had only fitful sleep.

Central location, warm welcome, excellent breakfast more than make up for the basic facilities.

Lovely host, central location, (I had) a spacious room, and good breakfast.

Decor is limited and guest house is dated.

The toilet is very good! Is very close to the city centre Michael from the reception was very nice

It was a little bit noisy, because there is a pub close to the property, but it didn’t affect me.

Good location for the theatre and waterfront

Breakfast was excellent thankyou, very friendly and helpful owner.

The large pay car park opposite was phone app only (no cash) but the owner can help with this if you do not have an app for Ireland.

Nice short stay at Waterford

You can't get more perfect location than this if you are doing an leisure trip to Waterford. Bus stand, railway station, main shopping street, and the dock are within 600 m from the location.

It was the cheapest available, and it was next to a pizza place and the train station.

Understaffed, Wi-Fi reception was non existent.
