About this apartment rental
Our apartment is nestled in the hills up above Cala Piccola Bay, a prestigious residential area just a few km from the charming port of Porto Santo Stefano.
It sleeps 6 people and has 3 bathrooms. The 3 bedrooms have Air Conditioning.
Our private terrace and well-tended garden look right out onto the blue sea, with a front-row view of Giglio Island across the water.
All the rooms of the apartment have access outside, you can eat ouside on the terrace or in the large living room/dining room next to the kitchen corner.
Internet WiFi, high speed (optical fiber).
Electricity is not included and it must be paid upon consumption: € 0.50 per kw. Average cost 35/60 euros per week.
Final cleanings season: € 120
Refundable safety deposit: € 250
Tourist tax: € 2 per night per person, max 7 nights (not for children under 14 yo)

The view is breathtaking, and you can gaze at it for hours from the large terrace. Communication with the owner beforehand was excellent, and we were welcomed by the cleaners. The garden is beautifully maintained.The house itself could use a bit of a fresh coat of paint inside. The bathrooms are very small, but there's plenty of hot water. They could also use some updating.The kitchen is small but well-equipped, except for a kettle and a Nespresso machine. There's a shuttle service that takes you to and from the beach, which is fantastic.All in all, we had a wonderful week.

The accommodation was as described and fully met our expectations. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, there was a little delicious surprise to welcome us and communication with them was very easy.The kitchen was very well equipped and functional. One suggestion for improvement would be better mosquito protection with appropriate screens on the windows/doors.The free entry for 4 people to the Cala Piccola bathing complex is a big plus for the accommodation.

The view from the terrace to Giglio is perfect and that is what you pay for.
It is very quiet in the evening and during the night which is very comfortable after a day at a crowdy beach or down at the bay.
However there are some issues regarding cleanliness which can be solved easily and the kitchen has to be renewed. Fitments of the kitchen is ok.
There is a big problem with ants which is not acceptable in this price class.
This must be solved professionally.
We spend nice holidays.
