The only exception is if all roads into Lake Tahoe are closed to all vehicles/traffic which prevents guests from arriving, and refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. While complete road closures are rare, this is why travel insurance is recommended. --> Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Guests should plan accordingly to have a Four wheel drive (4WD), all wheel drive (AWD) with winter tires or chains for non 4WD/AWD vehicles during the winter months. --> Mountain towns experience unpredictable and periodic electricity, TV Cable and Internet/Wifi outages during the winter season (and sometimes during other months), and the complex may experience sudden jacuzzi spa/sauna closures during storms or if equipment is damaged. Do NOT bring a dog (or any other animal) into the condo AT ANY TIME, with the exception of Service Animals. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are NOT allowed per HOA regulations and non-acceptance of ESA's is supported by Nevada State law. This isn't my rule and guests who violate this will be required to pay any applicable HOA fees/additional cleaning fees or other fines. For reference, here's how the ADA classifies Service Animals: --> Dogs --> Any breed and any size of dog --> Trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability Service animals are not: --> Required to be certified or go through a professional training program --> Required to wear a vest or other ID that indicates they’re a service dog --> Emotional support or comfort dogs, because providing emotional support or comfort is not a task related to a person’s disability
