Easily the best rental experience I have had." Just take a look at the pictures, better yet, reserve this property today and come see for yourself. This magnificent 5-bedroom, 5-bath Mediterranean-style home is situated in the Country Club neighborhood along the San Diego coastline, offering the best views of gorgeous ocean sunsets, La Jolla Village, beach, and golf course views. It features secluded terraces and gardens surrounded by palm trees and fountains, as well as back terraces with sweeping views for entertaining with barbecue, pool, spa, and fountains. Each of the five bedrooms comes with walk-in closets. The master bedroom and baths are spacious, convenient, and is complete with a beautiful view of La Jolla and the coast! This Spanish Villa is situated on a larger lot, in the La Jolla Country Club neighborhood of San Diego, California. It features classic Spanish Villa appointments such as Saltillo tile flooring, tile roof, elegant wrought iron railings inside and out and beautiful gardens and terraces with palm trees and flowers surrounding the house. This residence is fenced and offers a great deal of privacy for guests. There is a three-car garage and a driveway which fits 3+ additional cars (6 car maximum). As you enter the property, you are greeted with lush landscaping and a water fountain that leads you to the front door (which has a window that opens to ocean views). The middle floor off the entryway features a beamed living room with magnificent ocean views from a historical window designed by Architect Thomas Shepherd (La Valencia Hotel), with sofa seating and a gas-burning fireplace. Adjacent is a family room with comfy sectional seating, a flat-screen TV and the Pasadena sleeping porch, with ocean and sunset views, where you can kick back and relax on one of the sofas, sipping your beverage of choice. The 10-person ocean-view dining room is adjacent to the large gourmet kitchen, with an island and an ocean-view breakfast table. Step outside the dining room & kitchen onto a spacious deck equipped with outdoor teak dining tables, an outdoor gas fireplace and Lynx gas grill. From here, you can see forever with spectacular views of the ocean, coastline, golf course and city lights. There are 5 full-size bedrooms. The Master Suite is on the main level, and 3 bedrooms are up 7 steps off the kitchen, with a hallway closing door. The 5th bedroom is on the middle level. All bedrooms have hardwood flooring and lots of closet space. The spacious Master Suite features a balcony, a day-bed sofa (sitting room), access to the patio and spa, as well as views from the comfy king-size bed. The Master Bathroom features his and her bathrooms with a tub in hers and walk-in shower in his. On the bottom level there is an exercise room with a work-out machine, exercise mats, a True stationary bike (sunset & ocean views) and a full bathroom with shower. The property was spacious with so many places to be together or be alone! The outdoor area was like being at a resort: pool, hot tub,fireplace. The kitchen was well-appointed—we cooked easily and ate comfortably in the lovely dining room. Thank you so much for such a welcoming home!

Spent Thanksgiving week with 3 generations of family. House accommodated all of us with plenty room. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils and dishes to make Thanksgiving turkey as well as other meals. Beautiful home.

We loved our stay! The house had a private area for each of our 3 families. The hot tub and pool were used daily, as well as the work out room and the patio off the kitchen is where we ate dinner most nights watching the sunset. The views from any rooms at the back of the house and patios are spectacular. Our only problem was that the bedrooms are not dark enough if you want to sleep in a bit later in the mornings after all it is your vacation. Also, the trash situation from previous guests is not solved and it was overwhelming. Management needs to explain the pick up system and schedule much better to guests and/or take care of it themselves.

I would say that all the photos of the property were extremely accurate except for the photos of the view from the house. They were so breathtakingly beautiful and they were amazing from all areas of the house. The house was a bit older but it just lended to the charm of the house which was full of many special places to read a book, relax or spend time with family. Another unexpected surprise was a hike to the top of the neighborhood which had a trail that extended 2 miles and ended up with a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city of La Jolla. Had a few questions for the owner and she replied immediately. Would definitely stay there again.!!!! We would definitely go back again

This house is just unbelievable! Amazing views. Amazing layout. Truly a villa style environment in sunny San Diego. We were in town for a wedding with quite a few other families and this house was the envy of all the other families.

This is a large beautiful home with all amenities in place. It's perfect for large families - with 5 full bedrooms in different corners of the house that allow for privacy. We stayed with my older parents, our family (2 kids 8 and 5, husband, me) and my brother. We had ample space and great common areas, especially outside. The manager was responsive. The pool is a lap pool so it's narrow, but amazing. One thing to keep in mind is that there are multiple sets of stairs so for older individuals or toddlers it can be a bit tedious to walk around. (We were ok, but it made us a bit nervous). Stunning outdoor views and spaces to eat, gorgeous sunsets. Outdoor grill. A real "vacation home". Very close to shops, good restaurants, gym etc. Would stay again.

Cozy, comfortable and clean - loved the layout of this place. Views are incredible, many relaxing little nooks all with excellent views. Note, not all the bedrooms have their own bathroom so just be aware of that. Definitely not a problem but good to know. Great stay - perfect for several couples.

This beautiful home was perfect for our group (me and my husband and our adult daughters and their partners). The layout of the bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space, while the spacious living areas inside and out provided great gathering spaces. The property is exquisitely landscaped, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, patios and decks, especially the dining area with grill and fireplace on the roof. The kitchen was very well equipped, and since we really enjoyed cooking together, we really appreciated this. Awesome views and good location, we'll definitely be back!

We had a nice time at the property, but the house needs a serious makeover. While the views are amazing, and the pool is nice, the quality of the amenities is poor. The kitchen is not well stocked with cookware, most of which look more than 10 years old. The cabinetry is dated and most drawers and doors don’t open easily or shut. The bathrooms are dated, the house came with towels that one would expect at a Motel 6, and shampoo and shower wash supplies were enough for a single day. The architect for this home should lose their license. The house is cut-up with stairs connecting almost every room. The good news is that we got a great aerobic workout just walking around the house. The A/C was spotty - freezing in some parts of the house and hot in others. Most windows and doors do not open easily or at all.

This property is as advertised. The layout was perfect for my two adult boys, their families and my wife and I providing distinct little sanctuaries for each group, but togetherness at the same time. Beds were comfortable. Location in La Jolla was great!

Home was very comfortable and the views were nothing short of awesomeness!!Not a home for anyone that cannot do stairs. Beds were comfortable, furniture in each room was comfortable and elegant..Kitchen needs a few things, more then 4 steak knives, more then 1 set of tongs so as you can see there is not much to complain about. House was very comfortable for 6 adults ( 2 couples and 2 singles) one 3 month old baby. Pool is not fenced from the home so young children would not be advised.When we come back to La Jolla we will look to stay here again!!
