A truly family-run feel! The owners are lovely people, very friendly and welcoming, and they speak great English, so communication was no problem at all. The food was fantastic. Both dinner and breakfast were huge and absolutely delicious, and everything was traditional, homemade cooking done right. You definitely won’t go hungry, and the flavors speak for themselves. On top of that, the place is very quiet and peaceful, so you can get a proper night’s sleep.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm welcome, great traditional food, and some peace and quiet. If I ever go to Japan again, we'll definitely come back!

The Inn was perfect for a weekend getaway with calm and serene atmosphere. Maki-San and kazhuki-San were one of the best hosts we have been with. I loved the bath and the home cooked meals..Maki-San is a wonderful chef and the delicacies she prepared were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re traveling in Iwaki.
