Summary:
Fall/Winter books open! The home is perfect for a family, couples or a group of hunters. It is across from Drum Inlet and a short boat ride to the Outer Banks of NC. The home is located to allow for privacy while having access to historical Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach. The house a newly constructed with 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is ideal for water activities being directly on Core Sound and a minutes from the boat ramp
The Space:
The home is located a small fishing village known for great fishing in the spring, summer and fall. The duck hunting is renowned in the winter month. We have beautiful weather in the summer for boating, swimming, kayaking and just lazy summer days. Carteret County has many festivals year around that visitors love to participate in. The home has a large shed tenants can use to store items they bring. The home is secluded yet close to everything. This location would also be great for wedding venues or as a reception, please contact us for further details
Guest Access:
Guest will have the entire home and the outdoor shed. They will have access to the entire shoreline and the yard
The Neighborhood:
Stacy is a quite fishing village with close proximity to Historical Beaufort, Morehead City and Atlantic Beach. Guest can visit the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Decoy Museum in Harker's Island, the Maritime Museum.
Getting Around:
The home is near the NC Ferry Service to take a day trip to Ocracoke and Hatteras Islands. It is 5 miles from the ferry service to Core Banks and in Beaufort one can take a ferry to Cape Lookout.
Other Things to Note:
Guests should bring water shoes, life jackets if needed and don't forget sunscreen.

Second stay at this Vrbo. Pictures are accurate and the view is amazing. This Down East area of Carteret County was medicine for my soul. The location is an easy drive to beaches and in town shopping and dining. This place is for those who wish quiet, restful relaxation away from the din of normal city dwelling. If you like gulls, waterbirds, raptors and jumping mullet, then shangrila you may find. The wife must have read three books while there and saltmarsh air works for me better than a beta blocker for my hypertension. kb from sc

Very nice property recently updated and well stocked for all your needs. Offers a great opportunity to experience the undeveloped Outer Banks and Lower East NC areas in a relaxed and serene environment. We enjoyed being off the beaten path a bit to unplug and unwind (but still had technology available!). Great for fishing or kayaking from the backyard. Enjoyed day trips to Harkers Island, Morehead, and Ocracoke via ferry just up the road. DG store located a couple miles north for most essentials while there. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had a couple small items we need help with at check in and they were easy to get in touch with and helped us right away. We recommend hosts and this property for those that want a peaceful getaway in a beautiful area of North Carolina!

Overall, property was great. Beautiful backyard with a small dock. House was clean and kitchen had lots of amenities.

The wright way!! A very nice home. Fast communication with Kim property management . We were able to fish - caught some nice big red drum to take home . Wonderful place for a mini vacation!!
