Hi speed internet is wireless. Washer and dryer in the main floor. Under the house car parking for 3-4 cars. It is great for large family or great getaway even in the winter months. Seafood restaurant are excellent, miniature golf are outstanding. Surf fishing is at your finger tips or rent a boat in the inlet or the ocean. Bed arrangement King in MBR (Ocean Front), 2 rooms each has a queen bed and share a bath ,one has a queen bed and a bunk bed, one downstairs has 2 twins and LR sofa queen bed. Please spare me and you the hassle if you want to rent the house dirt cheep. Walk on the clear quite beach, enjoy surf fishing, swimming either in the pool or in the warm ocean. Many state of the art golf course. Seafood restaurants are the best in the nation. Shopping in factory outlet, super Wal-Mart or gift stores are few yards to miles away. Miniature golf are magnificent. Fresh seafood and fresh fruits are in shakes next door, or you can catch your own. The pool is shared with 12 houses . The pool is in the middle of the 12 houses ,and this house is the fifth house north of the pool.About 200 feet away .The pool is not heated . I do not ask any one to wire money ,either paypal or check to my home. If you are asked to wire money it is a scam. Great location and property on the beach. Some amenities updated since shown pictures as well: floors, certain furniture etc all positives. Owner very communicative through process! This home is part of a group of 12 on the beach; this was our fourth year staying in the group and this was our best experience and house to date. Thanks

Just a shame that this beach house could be so nice . Started our stay with water coming through the lights of master bedroom into the sofa couch in the living room . The owner sent someone from the management company and he used a shop vac and left . We opened the couch and all the cushions were wet the mattress was soaked and caked with food .
Couldn’t use the couch to sit on for 2 days
The back deck was so dirty old nasty table and chairs all rusted . There were 2 nice lounge chairs though. The downstairs bathroom overflowed 4 times . When I complained to the owner and asked for compensation he said your at the ocean .The renters before us left their garbage on the driveway and we had to clean it up . Found out from neighbors these issues are frequent . Only thing it’s got going is the location. None of furniture matched . If you don’t care about cleanliness and having nice furniture then rent it .

I was very excited when I found this Ocean front house on VRBO that was in my budget and I was not disappointed.5 bedrooms and 4 full baths gave my family plenty of room. Even with 3 teen girls we never ran out of hot water. We cooked in most nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved sitting at the bar for breakfast and dinner. Our kids also enjoyed the pool , even though shared by 12 houses ,it was never crowded.The best part of the house is the huge deck right on the dunes and an easy walk to the beach.... We enjoyed sitting on the deck with an adult beverage a cool sea breeze and listening to the crashing surf . Doesn't get any better.

We absolutely Loved the house. Being right on the beach and watching gorgeous sun rises was perfect. Unfortunately the weather was cooler than we had hoped and the Pool was closed but we made awesome memories!! The location of the house made easy access to all the day trips we made

Great to be on the ocean.
Owner was very responsive to the small couple of issues we had. Plenty of room for parking. House was as the pictures showed. Couple of items could use some maintenance but nothing that caused any issues. One thing to note property did not have any available beach chairs. Luckily we brought our own.

The deck is also half-covered which was great for allowing some of us to sit in the shade and those that wanted to be in the sun could be in the sun. We drank our coffee and watched the sun rise every morning – it was stunning! We loved the fact there were lots of coffee cups since we’re big coffee drinkers! The location was close to everything which was nice too. We had three large cars which fit under the house nicely – it may be challenging to park more unless some of them are smaller. The owner was pleasant to work with and we hope to return there next year. It was the relaxing care-free break we all needed.

ocean front rental - amazing trip
Very good things to say about this rental. It is located in Garden city, SC, but it is literally two house down from Surfside Beach for those wondering.
I gave the house 3 stars on accuracy of the online listing because the place we stayed was much more updated then the pictures online! (High grades for everything else). The main upgrades from the pictures online was the flooring- it was a good move to replace that carpet w laminate or wood with all the sand coming in. Most utensils, blenders, pans, pots were available- outdated but doable for a stay. The old wall paper in the pictures were replaced and the kitchen looks alot better.
Can't beat the views on the water and it is located close to whatever you need.(restaurants, piers, golf, fishing, food store, Walmart, beach shops, ) The deck was a nice handout at night and during unexpected weather. Any small issues that occurred before and during the rental were quickly handled by the owner. For some reason the keycode to the house reset and the owner quickly gave us a new one. The owner got back to me pretty quickly via text/message from VRBO. We stayed with 8 people total, (four adults, four kids) which had room for many more. Three bathrooms were a very nice luxury. The pool was very nice and was not crowded at all-It is not heated, but not needed in the summer. The pool is a very brief walk from the house.
The only real negative I have with this rental was the grill situation. A small charcoal grill made grilling for 8 people an adventure. (had to get charcoal and it was very small surface area) If he upgraded to a propane and larger grill -it would of made cooking so much easier and stress free.
small suggestion- Maybe a channel list under the glass table would be useful
I would definitely recommend this place and we plan on staying there in the future.

We loved the house! It was the perfect size for 4 families. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, bowls, silverware, dishes, and everything you need for cooking. The location was great and very close to stores, gas stations, restaurants, and, activities. Definitely will return next time we head to Myrtle Beach!

Everything we needed in a beach house
We've returned to this beach house quite a few times over the years for our family vacation. It's perfect for us. Right on the beach with a great porch and plenty of space. The water hose is right on the boardwalk that goes from the porch to the beach so we can rinse our chairs and ourselves. I walked to the pier and back every day. Good restaurants close by plus the arcade and Painters ice cream. Thanks for another wonderful trip!

Amazing location, clean and comfortable
Could this house use a little updating? Yes. But despite that, it was very clean (and fresh smelling) upon arrival, very comfortable and had everything we could need for the weekend including beach toys linens and a fully stocked kitchen. The location is perfect! Waking up to the sun rising over the ocean out the bedroom window and then eating breakfast on the deck was just wonderful.
If you come in the winter beware that one of the rooms (the one over the deck) gets very cold at night likely due to the fact that it overhangs the deck. We just wound up using a different room but more blankets could have helped this too. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little getaway! Don’t get hung up on the small aesthetic details. The important things are location comfort and cleanliness and this place has them all.

Family Vaca
We really enjoyed our stay, except the beach construction that was going on. It was noise and machinery on the beach 24-7. The house was very nice. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need which was great. The owner was very accomodating and easy to work with. It was a great place for our family vacation.

Great location but poorly maintained house
You can't beat the beachfront location. But it's like the owners want to skimp in every way possible to maintain the house. It's not just the decor, the house need desperately needs a new paint job, there is rust everywhere on the deck (tables, chairs,). The blinds are thin plastic that lets in all the light and barely does the job of blinds. They easily bend and break. The couch was made of fake plastic leather that was peeling. Carpets and bed covers were tired and old with some stains on them. Nothing looked like it was updated in decades. All the pots and pans (with the exception of one) were burnt or scratched. All the utensils were a mix bag - some spoons of the cheap kind with sharp edges.
I realize maintaining a house in the beach with the weather is difficult. Renters are hard on property, I understand all that. But this owner does the base minimum and in some incidence less. I own a property that I rent and I would never let my house deteriorate to this level.
One positive note, on our last day, the house srpung a leak to the outside of the house. I'm not sure what caused it or what it was from. Thankfully there was no leakage inside the home. I called the owner and he responded right away and had his handyman come immediately.

Needs some work
Basics were okay: Lots of space for large families, AC worked, beds were good, water pressure was good, nice charcoal grill. However, fridge had broken shelf support, microwave handle was falling off, many electrical outlets in kitchen and living room did not work. When using the stove top, two burners were sparking and not safe to use. TV remote should be replaced....batteries would not stay in place. Needs some more attention to cleaning between visits.
Overall, needs some additional updating and tender loving care.

We love it!
This was our 4th year in this great house right on the beach. It couldn't be in a better location or have a better view. We were able to get all 9 of us around the table which is important to us. The microwave had a broken handle and the owner had it replaced while we were there. Love having the shower and hose to get all the sand off as you come up from the beach. VERY responsive owner!

Can't beat the view and the location!!
Furniture a bit dated, but otherwise this is heaven. Walk out the back deck to the beach and beautiful views even from the upstairs bathroom! We also loved the location, a little south of the craziness of Myrtle Beach, just down the road from BI-LO and from some great restaurants.

Nice Ocean Front New Years Eve
We had a great visit to Garden City Beach for our annual NYE trek. Mourad was courteous, responsive and accommodating. The home was clean and all appliances/utilities functioned as expected. I don't typically give 5 stars, and the main reason I don't here is that all of the bedrooms did not have big screen tvs, the pillows are a bit flat, and the wood cabinets and furniture need a good scrubbing (painted wood just naturally picks up oil and grime from peoples hands) . But hey, it's the end of the season, and I'm sure those issues will be addressed for 2017. A good deal for us, as we weren't looking for state of the art everything, and were not interested in paying for such things anyway.

Everything was excellent with our stay. The house was great for my family during our Thanksgiving break. Everything was in order with the house - it was clean, beds made, linens there, etc. We enjoyed the deck and the beach. We will rent the property again in the future.

Roach infested
We rented directly from the owner as he called and offered such to save money. Big mistake. Kitchen had a roach infestation. Took two days of complaining to get him to take action. Terminex said it would take weeks to rid property of these cockroaches. Kitchen was not usable !! Disgusting broaches all in cabinets and silverware drawer. Owner did not care that we could not use the kitchen he finally agreed to $500 refund !!! That did not wven come close to covering the cost of our added expenses. DO NOT RENT !!

Feels like our home away from home!
This was the third year my husband and I have taken our entire family to this great ocean front house. It's my favorite week of the year. Our children, their wives and 4 grands sleep upstairs and my husband and I take the twin bedroom downstairs. (Brand new mattresses!). It's a lovely home with a great front porch. It was clean and we had everything we needed. There was even a brand new grill this year but we didn't use it. We walked to the Conk Cafe for great food and drinks. Yummy shrimp poboy and great fries and I usually don't even bother with fries. Couple of nights at Painters for homemade ice cream. Our favorite restaurant in Garden City Beach is the Gulfstream Marina for early bird. Once it's hot outside, don't eat on the porch unless you want to bake! Amazing prices and delicious food! Hope you'll enjoy this wonderful house as much as we do!

Granny's Surprise 70th Birthday Family Reunion
My family surprised me with a long weekend reunion. This location was perfect because it was half way for all of us. House was a bite of a disappointment. Tired bedding and all around decor. Kitchen was sticky and not up to our expectations but well equipped. We managed to overlook the short-comings because location was superb but the entire house needs updating and some serious TLC. Deck was great but in poor condition. It is understandable with an absentee owner and salt air things will deteriorate. Had a great reunion but not up to our standards and I felt bad that my kids spent this amount of money for a sub-standard rental in off season.
