PLEASE NOTE: The cabin is on the top of a mountain and the driveway is on a steep gravel incline. It is best to have AWD or 4X4 to reach the cabin.
PLEASE NOTE: The ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge does not work. Please purchase ice or bottled water if you don't want to drink the well water.

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.
GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

This is a SMOKE FREE environment! Please don't smoke in the cabin. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts.
PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.
CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.
SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.
FIRES: Guests are welcome to use the fire pit year-round. However, we do not provide firewood. You can purchase this at many of the local convenience stations, local grocery stores or Walmart. It's generally around $5 per bundle.
NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.

This property is stunning. The view is breath taking. Has everything you need except wi-Fi was poor and myTV had no signal. Our visitors loved it too and asked how did I go about renting this property. Thank you for everything!

OH MY GOODNESS! Among the Peaks was absolutely perfect!!! The cabin was fantastic and so cozy! We actually chose to extend our stay by a day! It meant a 14 hour drive home but it was so worth the extra day at Among the Peaks! I would like to plan a stay here in EVERY season. The mountains changed daily with everything blooming.

Amazing views and beautiful home. House is stocked with everything you need for a long weekend. Beds are comfortable. Bonus wildlife encounter with deer walking up to feed near the firepit.

A Beautiful private piece of property that makes you feel right at home. Each day we saw beautiful sunrise from the side porch and spectacular sunsets from the front porch. Plenty of wildlife along the well maintained gravel drive up. I had no problem getting up the driveway. The management of this property are exceptional and are there should you need anything. Ingle's Market & Walmart approx 20 min, Dollar General Bakersville 10 min, Blue Ridge Parkway 30 min. I will be back for my 3rd trip next year, can't wait! This property will not dissapoint!
