About this apartment rental
Romantic and cozy apartment located in the very heart of Florence in a quiet and peaceful street just behind Ponte Vecchio (50 mt). From here you can easily visit all the center by foot: walking from Ponte Vecchio, in about two minutes you reach the Uffizi Gallery(350 mt); Piazza della Signoria (500 mt) and the Duomo (800 mt) are just around the corner. However the public transport is on the street down the apartment. Around the area you can choose from a wide choice of typical Italian restaurants at good prices.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a typical building of the 13th century served by LIFT. It is 60 s.m, fully equipped and well furnished. The bedroom, with its king size bed, is bright and airy. The bathroom is nicely blue furnished and provided with clean towels and a washing machine. The spacious living room has a comfortable sofa bed convertible in a bed 1 and 1/2 size and a TV/DVD player. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any kind of dishes; It is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, a drip coffee maker and Espresso coffe maker.
The apartment is also provided with Air Conditioning (both bedroom and living room) and WiFi, Washing machine and Dishwasher.
Cleaning fee is included.

We stayed for the month of May in Francesco’s Borgo San Jacopo apartment. As others have said, it is even prettier than the pictures. It is clean, well maintained, comfortable, nicely furnished and, perhaps most important to travelers- welcoming. We especially enjoyed the well equipped, spacious kitchen, nice bathroom and views of the rooftops and hills of Florence from the windows in each room. Francesco couldn’t have been a better host. He communicated promptly, was very helpful plus has a good sense of humor. Borgo San Jacopo is a wonderful little street offering a glimpse into a more authentic Florence with its many independently owned/operated small shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the little fruit market at the corner where they speak only Italian and proudly offer the best fresh produce you can imagine. Just remember to bring small bills/coins and to not touch the fruit. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with our stay and plan to return next February. Wonderful apartment with plenty of space. Having a washing machine was a bonus. Great location close to the river. We were able to walk from the train station. A little noisy at night with road traffic and people but after the first night i didnt notice much.
