This cozy spot is just what a small family or group of friend’s needs. Bus Stop brings you to the heart of the Beachwalk Resort within walking distance of everything across the street from the private resort pool and brand-new sprinkler pad to the beautiful shores of the private Lake Kai. Did we mention the pool is heated and there is a kiddie pool for the little swimmers? You can take a walk to the snack shop and get a soft serve Ice-cream cone on your way to the beach. Pack the complementary wagon with your gear and enjoy your day at the beach, which is only a 5-minute walk from your doorstep. BEDROOM and BATHROOM SET UP Main Level -Bedroom 1: Queen -Bedroom 2: Twin over Twin Bunk Beds -Bath 1: Standalone Full Bath INDOOR GATHERING SPACE After a day of playing outside or sunbathing at the beach, open the door to Bus Stop and instantly feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to be put to a culinary test. Cook inside or enjoy the natural gas grill on the patio. The living room offers a fireplace for those cooler nights and a television for your downtime. Fresh crisp linens await you. Sink into the plush bedding for a great night's rest. Bus Stop is the guest house to Vacation Station, rented separate, but makes for the perfect pair if looking for a large space. Together with Vacation Station these homes sleep 19 guests in 7 bedrooms. OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACE Have a seat on the porch overlooking the Beachwalk Resort. HOUSE SPECIFIC AMENITIES Cable TV, Wi-Fi, Linen and Towels, Wagon, Gas Grill, Porch LOCATION Located in Beachwalk Resort, across from the swimming pool and sprinkler pad. PARKING 1 parking spaces along the street in front of the house. Please do NOT park in front of the garage. HOUSE RULES -No smoking or vaping indoors -No PARTIES -No Prom Parties -No Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties -No fireworks -Must be 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve. PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your stay. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it. RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity. 4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

The place was perfect for our small family. The pool, lake, everything was wonderful. Only complaint is our first night there was a loud party in the house next door on Austin that went from 9:30-11pm with loud music and singing.

The property doesn't over-promise and it worked out great for our purpose, which was to have a "home base" while visiting family nearby. While the kitchen and deck were great to have, I would't plan on spending too much time in the house as it is quite small! Great deck, relative privacy for the development. The Beachwalk resort itself seems good for families, we were a bit out of place as a group of four adults! Awesome beach access. Certainly preferable location-wise as compared with hotels in Michigan City or other properties with difficult access to beaches and local amenities.

I love this property. It's a small space, but it has a great deck. Altogether, it's a great space for two adults and two children. I only have a couple small complaints:• The cookware is sparse. It would be nice to have a complete, set of pots and pans. • Bizarrely, the tub had no handle with which to turn on the water. I luckily had a vice grip in my car, so we were able to make it work. I told the Beachwalk office about this issue. They were all very nice, as was the repair person who came over. However, the issue was never resolved, and if I'm honest, I think I could have done with more communication from the office. Even if they had just finally told me they couldn't get the part that week, I would've appreciated that.

Bus stop had everything we needed. The towels were upgraded to extra large and there were plenty of them. The sheets were also upgraded. We thought the walk to the beach was too far. Other than that we loved it.

We loved everything about the location of this unit! Location is by the pool, small lake, open gathering area (karoke was a blast), snack shop and short walk to the beach. The reason not a 5 star is the unit could have been updated a bit. However, the unit has everything you need. There is also a lot to do in the area. We will definingly return. Can't wait to return and we would stay in the same unit!!

overall I was very satisfied with our stay. One minor thing is that on the description they offered golf cart rentals and I figured since in our group we had a couple of people with bad knees we were going to ba able to move around easily, unfortunately when we got there it turned out there were no golf carts to rent. they should take that out of the description/advertisement if its not true.

Wanting peace and solitude among a colorful neighborhood? Beachwalk Resort is only a 5 minute walk to Lake Michigan and short drive to shopping and a revitalized downtown with a selection of restaurants.

We had a great stay at Bus Stop! The best part of this property is definitely the location and proximity to the pool/lake/snack shop! We spent all of our time split between the beach and at the pool so this location was ideal. Bus Stop, was small and cozy, but we didn't spend much time indoors anyway and was exactly as presented on the website. The small size could have been a problem if the weather was bad for prolonged periods of time. Everyone was helpful and friendly at all portions of the reservation process and during our stay. Our 16 year old was disappointed to hear that the Golf Cart drivers had to be 18. It was frustrating when the private owners had young kids driving their golf carts throughout the property. The landscaping looked as if it had not been tended to in a very long time. However, many of the other properties in the area had similar overgrown grass and weeds, so perhaps this was a side effect of the pandemic or done intentionally for another reason. It looked sloppy, but that didn't affect our stay at all! We were close to grocery stores and restaurants, making it easy to accommodate any needs that arose. I appreciated the small and affordable option for our small family and would definitely return and recommend to others!

We loved the location of the bus stop!! Just across from the pool and Lake Kia made it the perfect spot in Beachwalk. The interior is very dated, but we expected that & it didn’t impact our stay. It was affordable & a great option for a quick trip with our family. The biggest issue we faced were ants. Had we stayed longer than 2 nights it would have been more of a concern. They were on the tables and counters. We had to keep all the food in the fridge for that reason. We did inform management and they said they would look into it after we left.
