The flatscreen cable TV and DVDs provide plenty of entertainment and the fully-equipped kitchen lets you cook all your favorite meals. Between the gorgeous surroundings and plentiful modern perks, this is perfect for your next getaway - save your dates today! Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This home is very nice, well kept, and clean. The kitchen is well stocked, as well as the other amenities. The backyard views of the mountain are nice, and the place is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub is nice and well kept.

Beds were comfortable, the house was spacious, the hot tub was amazing with views looking out over forest and mountain. From here we did several day trips: Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop tour, Philips 26 Glacier Cruise out of Whittier, the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and the Crow Creek Mine. We had a wonderful time and would recommend! Just one thing to point out- the twin bed is on the upstairs landing so would not work for someone sensitive to summer light (no blackout curtains here) or noise from the living room area below- our 8 year old slept here and loved it though.

This was a great house for my family of 6. We really enjoyed the location, views, and hot tub. We could easily walk to the main area of Girdwood. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out in the living room area. Overall a great and easy stay.

Our favorite of the trip. We felt at home. Beautiful view from front and back doors. Three moose came to greet us our first morning. We hope to return someday!

The house was nice and clean and warm. There is plenty of space to spread out in the main bedroom downstairs. The reason why this is four stars and not five is because the hot tub did not heat up, which is one of the main reasons we booked this house and the TV was difficult to figure out.

This is an incredibly built timber frame home with so many architectural details, custom furniture, and well designed for a comfortable stay. It’s location is convenient and has a hot tub and lots of room for eating, playing games and people can spread out to private bedrooms. Overall it is a great place to stay in Girdwood.

This is a great area to stay if you are doing your own self drive Alaskan trip. We liked that Girdwood allowed us to travel to Kenai Fjords, Portage Glacier and the wildlife preserve with ease. House is beautiful. Very large, only three of us on this trip and it was way too big for us. The only issue we had was trying to find the trash dumpster (we drove around and around twice and still couldn’t locate). Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen.

Although communication with Vacassa was atrocious the stay at the home was amazing. I didn't receive check-in information until less than 24 hours prior to check-in even though I messaged them 2 times the week prior to our trip. I also messaged them during our stay and have never received a response to any of the 3 messages. The listing states that the PM responds within hours, they do not.
Once we were at the property it was amazing. The home was very inviting, spotless, very homey and comfortable. The area was safe. The property was beautiful and the stream right outside our bedroom was music to my ears. We were close to restaurants, stores and attractions. I highly recommend the property, the property management company, nt so much.

Clean spacious with great views. The kitchen was stocked with everything u could think of. Grill and hot tub were great. The house was amazing. Would love to live there !!

The location of this rental is great. Close enough to Anchorage, Whittier, Seward and Hope to make easy day trips. We were there in mid-May, so great views of snowy mountains abound!
Only recommendations were a couple easy fixes
1) some light bulbs out that would have been nice to replace
2) one of the windows upstairs needs a new screen to keep the bugs out
3) upstairs tub drains very slow

Great Weekend Rental
My group and I had a blast staying here for our weekend getaway! The house was clean, had everything we needed, and was close enough to the slopes!

We had a great staycation over the long holiday weekend! This was our second stay and it was just as great as we remembered. Perfect for large families or a small group of friends with plenty of space to spread out. We loved that the kitchen comes fully equipped.... seriously you will have all the tools to make any kind of meal! The hot tub with mountain views is just what you need at the end of a long day on the mountain. What we most appreciated was the responsiveness of the Vacasa management company. Girdwood was having some weird fluctuations in weather and the driveway ended up becoming a skating rink. I called Vacasa and they had someone out to gravel within 15 minutes. If you're looking for a lodge like experience with all the comforts of home, we highly recommend!
