Surfscoter 105 has it all-a great location, screened porch, and is private with a lagoon/wildlife view. When you're not out on the beach nearby or viewing the scenic, lush backdrop from your porch swing, enjoy the inside of your home for relaxation and comfort. This accommodating property has a lovely living and dining space where you can gather and enjoy each other's company, sharing special moments and highlights from the day's events. The sparkling kitchen with stainless steel appliances is perfect for entertaining and preparing everyone's favorite dishes. This non-smoking vacation rental property includes 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, and a private washer and dryer to refresh for the next day in your pleasant home. THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This is the perfect place for a small party. My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful vacation. The house has a beautiful screened in porch, an open living room and all the amenities needed for a perfect getaway. Very short walk to the beach and convenient to everything we needed. Highly recommend it

There was no air conditioning for half our vacation. Portable window units were installed by the property manager for 2 out of 3 bedrooms. The main living area was smoking hot. The HVAC return filter looked like it hadn't been changed in a year. It was filthy. We were told there would be follow up and a partial refund due to spoiling our vacation and got ghosted by the property manager of vacasa and VRBO once we left the property. No follow up as promised or partial refund for intolerable conditions as promised. BUYER BEWARE. I would not rent from them again.

The home was perfect for our size group. We were able to enjoy all of the amenities and the home on Kiawah. Loved the screened in porch for morning coffee or late day relaxing.

Second year in a row that we have stayed at this property. Clean, close to the beach, good mattresses. Kitchen is well stocked but poorly designed - it’s tiring walking around and around the island to get to counters, sink, trash - but it’s not a fatal flaw. We would rent again.

We loved the spaciousness of the living area and also the screened in back porch! The location was perfect for us - walking distance to the beach and easy to bike to Freshfields Village and other sites of interest. Our dog was very happy that there was a house that let her stay :)

This was the perfect beach house for us! Close to the beach. Wonderful porch for appreciating nature! Well equipped house. Only complaint was dog hair left behind.

105 Surfscoter was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. We liked that it was close to the beach and spacious enough for the 6 of us. Would love to go back in the spring to enjoy the large deck. Only drawback is Kiawah’s 2 car limit which makes it inconvenient when family are coming from Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina. The house, though, was great and the property manager stayed in touch in case we needed anything. Will certainly return.

A wonderful family Thanksgiving
105 Surfscoter was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. We liked that it was close to the beach and spacious enough for the 6 of us. Would love to go back in the spring to enjoy the large deck. Great location that is very convenient to the beach and away from the crowds. Open layout of the house worked well for our group and the back porch was an added plus since the weather was perfect for being in the fresh air. Some finishes are a little dated but a great deal for the price we paid.

Rating Details:The property manager was very helpful.The vacation rental was very clean.I was very happy with the location.I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.Reviewer Comments:great location - temps at night 70, temps each day 80 to 83 - water temp 82 - rained two days for several hours, not a problem! - small alligator (18 inches) made it's home in the lagoon 20 feet from our screened-in porch to the delite of our grandkids not to mention our daughter and my wife (grandma) - wrens in the trees and bushes delighted us with song - bicycling, Frisbee golf, and the soccer field kept everyone busy when they weren't swimming or surfing or digging up sand dollars - reported to the property management company that we found a large salad serving bowl nestled between two other bowls with remnants of lettuce, half cherry tomatoes and salad dressing - also found a blender with sticky remnants and mold - we cleaned everything

Great Access to Beach
Hello, my family and I just returned from Kiawah Island where we stayed at 105 Surfscoter. The house was a perfect location and very close to the beach access. The house was well appointed with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Our family enjoyed looking for alligators in the back yard and was fortunate to see a baby sunning themselves one day. It was nice to have the outdoor shower to rinse off when coming back from the beach. Kiawah is a wonderful vacation spot for families. Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of the restaurants due to COVID but we were happy to eat the groceries from Fresh Fields at home. Kayaking is amazing in the river at high tide!
