A row of palmettos, sea oats, and rolling sand dunes are all that separate these roomy cottages from the Atlantic. Within a short bike trip to Night Heron Park, Oceanwoods cottages are secluded as well as convenient. This cottage accommodates up to 8 people with one king, two doubles, and two twin beds. There is a deck with a gas grill, a screened porch with a wooded view, two TVs, and wireless internet. The cottage is about 225 yards from the beach access. Dogs are welcome for a small additional fee. There is parking for up to two cars. This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, internet, a DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service, and a starter supply of paper products and detergents. *There's an outside shower available (hot and cold water). This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: Community Docks Nearby Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) This house is a gem! So close to the beach! Quiet neighborhood, fabulous outdoor shower, comfortable screened in porch, had all we needed. Perfect for a family and also allows dogs. Kitchen could use updating, but was very clean and well stocked. Great price for location and would definitely stay again!

Property is very nice. Just a couple of items the homeowners might want to consider: 1) install a ceiling fan in master bedroom - will save energy and use of HVAC fan function. 2) new commode in master bath - current one is too low and small. 3) exhaust fan in master bath needs cleaning - will operate more effectively and efficiently when clean. Overall property is very nice and would stay there again if available on next trip to Kiawah.

Loved this property - so close to the beach! Thought we would spend more time in Charleston, but we enjoyed the restaurants and shops at Freshfields, the beach was a short walk away from our villa, could not have asked for more. We had one small issue with the TV that was quickly remedied. Thank you!

Close to the beach and family, dog friendly neighborhood! Some commented that it needs updating but literally everything was perfectly comfortable and casual, a place you can relax without telling the kids to be careful of this or that. Great screened porch and open deck. And the gas grill is very nice, loved grilling shrimp and burgers. Better than my own! If I had a beach home, I’d want it just like this one.
