Villa in South Africa

About this villa rental
Villa Yingwe is our intimate private bush villa for up to 4 guests, set on Silonque Holiday Estate directly bordering Kruger National Park. It is a place for travellers who value peace, privacy and being close to nature, without giving up the comforts of a beautiful home.
And at Yingwe, you really are close to nature. A waterhole lies approximately 18 metres from the terrace and regularly attracts wildlife. Impala, waterbuck, warthogs and many bird species are frequent visitors, while elephants and other animals may also appear. Wildlife roams freely throughout the estate, so you never quite know what you might see from your own terrace.
Your own place in the bush
Yingwe accommodates up to 4 guests in two spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and private outdoor shower. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds that can also be arranged together.
The bathrooms offer plenty of space, with a bath, indoor shower, double basins and an outdoor shower where you can experience the sounds and atmosphere of the African bush in complete privacy.
At the heart of the villa is an open-plan living area with a comfortable lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Large doors connect the interior with the spacious covered terrace, making outdoor living a natural part of your stay.
Watch the bush come alive
The terrace is one of our favourite places at Yingwe. Have breakfast while watching the waterhole, spend a quiet afternoon listening to the birds or simply sit with a drink and wait to see what appears from the bush.
Outside you also have your own private hot tub, braai and boma with fire pit. After a day in Kruger, the hot tub is a wonderful place to unwind under the African sky while listening to the sounds of the bush around you.
Guests can also enjoy the shared facilities of Silonque Holiday Estate, including two swimming pools, a tennis court and viewpoint.
Kruger just minutes away
Phalaborwa Gate is approximately 15 minutes away, making Yingwe an excellent base for self-drive safaris or guided game drives in Kruger National Park. Phalaborwa itself is also around 15 minutes away for supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
The surrounding region offers plenty to explore, including Blyde River Canyon, the Panorama Route, Magoebaskloof and the Hoedspruit area.
But one of the things we love most about Yingwe is that you don't have to leave the villa every day to experience Africa. Some of the most memorable moments happen simply by staying home, sitting on the terrace and waiting to see what the bush brings to you.
Everything you need for your stay
Before arrival, you'll receive access to our Luxury Safari Homes Guest App with directions, check-in information, details about the villa and estate, local recommendations, activities, restaurants, wildlife information and practical tips. Our local host and team are also nearby whenever assistance is needed.
Villa Yingwe combines privacy and comfort with something that is difficult to put into words until you've experienced it yourself: the feeling of having the African bush right outside your door.
