About this house rental
Located in Holmes Beach, this charming house for $493 per night is a great option for your next vacation. VRC16-000563 The Siboney located at 3700 Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach, is an exquisite, executive level home with a private heated pool set amidst tropical, native landscaping. Its 2000 square feet of luxury! The beach is approximately one half block away with no major roads to cross. You can enjoy views of the gulf from within home and rooftop deck. This spacious property features all normal amenities as well as extras such as a garage and a full size washer and dryer. The location of the Siboney is convenient to shopping, restaurants, the Manatee County Public Beach and the trolley stop. A car may not even be required! The master bath has been totally renovated and now includes a wonderful and unique free standing bathtub. The Siboney has a 42 inch television in the living room. All three bedrooms have televisions. There is even a computer printer for your use. Last but not least is the extremely large roof top deck with panoramic and sweeping views from Gulf of Mexico to the Sarasota skyline. What a relaxing place to enjoy the sunsets of Holmes Beach! The Siboney sleeps six comfortably with a king size bed in the main upstairs bedroom, a queen size bed in the second upstairs bedroom, a queen size bed in the lower level bedroom. One small pet less than 25 pounds is permitted with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee. It is a one week minimum rental. Parking is limited to three vehicles. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Our stay was great!!! The house was large enough for our family of 5. Very close to the beach. Only a minute walk. It would have been nice if there were a few more blankets available. One of my kids had to sleep on the couch. Also if there were a few more towels for showers and pool/beach. We had to buy some beach towels. The washer and dryer should be replaced. Doing 1 load a day and it taking over 3 hours to be completed was not fun. Overall the house is nice and the location is perfect. Walking distance to all of the shops.

We had a great vacation on Anna Maria Island! The Siboney house met our needs - close to the beach, nice pool (but not heated) and outside area, a working washer and dryer, and lots of space and beach accessories. Notes on making it better: a wider deck around the pool, replace couch and loveseat (they are so deep and low; we spent our time outside and elders used the small table and chairs next to the fireplace); tub is in the way of accessing cubbies; change access to rooftop so not having to go through a bedroom; the kitchen cabinets need handles and knobs to open them with ease (we have friends that just added handles to their cabinets that are just like the ones Siboney has; they look great and are functional; let me know if you want a picture of them). Again, we had a great stay.

Overall the Siboney is a clean very well located home. However the interior kitchen and bathroom cabinets desperately need replacing. Many are broken or not functioning properly. Countertops also have permanent scratches/stains on them. The entire interior could use a remodel. The pool is large and has a nice new heater. The pool surface is fiberglass and it’s so old that the fiberglass pokes you when you lean up against it. The pool has several flakes falling off. The outdoor pool area could also use remodeling. There is no outdoor cooking/gathering area.

This Beachhouse was absolutely amazing! The rooms were very large and clean in the heated swimming pool was wonderful! It was just a short walk to the beach! Unfortunately the umbrellas were broken out we purchased a new one and left it in the garage! We definitely plan on staying in this lovely beach house again!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the property. The location was perfect for us and close to everything we needed. The only thing was that the pool was fiberglass and if you touch the sides or sat on any part of the fiberglass it would leave you feeling itchy.

My family had a great experience at this location. Not only the place is HUGE, with lots of space, but I was also only a block away from the beach. The beach area closest to this location was very private, not many people around you while on the sand or in the water. The pool in the backyard was also very refreshing for the summer heat. We had some trouble connecting to the wifi at the beginning of our stay, but the company (just to give it a name) took care of faster than expected; they sent someone to check it out right away so that we could had connection. Although some of the amenities were a little outdated (meaning not what’s modern now), they were all in great condition and did the job great. I also want to note that they do allow small dogs and it has a two-car garage packed with everything you could need when going to the beach and swimming in the pool (e.g. tubes, kids surf boards, seats, a cart, etc.). The only negative I saw from this location was the pillows, that were very uncomfortable for my taste, but it wasn’t really a huge problem.

The property was in a great location. The interior was large and ideal for my husband and I and our 2 adult children. No had to sleep on bunk beds! Was disappointed in the fact that so much greenery around the pool--no sun, so really not usable as hoped. Pool and decking needs some work too! The interior also need some updating like the kitchen and master vanity, but loved the master shower and soaking tub! Nice of owners to have washer/dryer, as well as, beach chairs available for beach. Would probably rent property again! Also our flight got in early so we were able to get in a little early which was great!

We spent a wonderful family week at Siboney. We had plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 babies. We were walking distance from a beautiful y crowded beach. Property management was quick to reply to any issues. The town was an east trolly ride away. The kitchen was well supplied and we had beach umbrellas and cart in the garage. The pool was clean and shaded... the pool deck was our only concern as it was older wood and splintered. The privacy was great!

This is a duplex home ( this was a surprise as I didn’t see that listed in the description). Unfortunate since it lacked a light and airy feeling due to a lack of windows on one side.
This home features a heated pool. The pool heat was great and must have been newly installed as the old replaced heater remained on the deck the entire time of our stay even after we mentioned it to the rental office and pool maintenance man. The pool is a fiberglass pool that apparently is in need of replacement. If you touched or sat on any part of the fiberglass, it would leave you with an itchy feeling until you scrubbed it off. Not a pleasant experience and therefore we used the pool sparingly. The area around the pool was disappointing as well as there was a small cheap plastic table for two and 4 uncomfortable lounge chairs. No cushions for the chairs and pretty flimsy. We like to be outdoors as much as possible coming from the northeast to escape the cold winter but we were forced to be inside while at the rental. There are two decks and a sunroof. The sunroof and one of the decks had no furniture and the other deck had another flimsy table and 2 chairs. We really thought that the roof deck would have been where we “hung” out but with no furniture we couldn’t.
The other side of the duplex had a new pool, more furniture and a nice set up on the roof top. For the price we paid you would have thought these areas would have been much better.
That being said, the house has a garage, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels which were nice to have. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked.
The best part about this rental was it’s location. 150 steps to the beach, easy walk to shopping, and two small city parks very close to walk the dog.
Unfortunately, because of the outdoor issues we would not stay again and would not recommend it if you want to have outdoor space,
