We were there for a concert and then spent time with family, so we weren't in the cottage for long stretches of time, but the host seemed to have thought of everything you could need while there. Would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay at this adorable cottage. Host was super sweet and welcoming. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Quiet area which felt very relaxing and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

This is just the sweetest spot. Cozy, clean and peaceful. Host is very accommodating, responsive, and has thought of every detail to make you feel welcome.
Our favorite things: being close to RI beaches (went every day) AND sitting out on the deck to watch the birds and rabbits.

It was quiet and private. Just perfect for the two of us. The bed was comfortable for two older folk. The only suggestion I might offer is to put something and I don't know what on the step down to the kitchen area - as someone with poor eyesight the lack of differentiation from the top level to the next and it being the same flooring was disconcerting. And when you are in a strange location....well. I thumped a time or two. It might just be me but it might be something to consider. Otherwise it was a truly lovely cabin in a quiet neighborhood and just perfect to our needs.

We stayed for a long weekend and it was a perfect place! The cottage was perfect size and in convenient location as a base home for all our adventures! Will definitely keep in mind for future trips!

Host loved on property next door but only saw her twice. Very nice and greeted us on arrival. Short 15 min drive to downtown Mystic. Used Ubers to hit the casinos and downtown if we wanted to enjoy some drinks. Area is def worth checking out.
There is an Italian restaurant like a mile from the property that is really good and we visited twice.
The property itself is a renovated barn structure but as everything you need. Bathroom is small but it didn’t bother us. Bed was very comfortable and the room was A/C’d. Thank you Saidi and Stan for the hospitality

The cabin was cute clean and so cozy. We lounged around me the cabin was close to so many restaurants and sights. We enjoyed the little patio for coffee when it wasn’t raining :) the hosts were super sweet and offered lots of privacy and were quick to respond if we had a concerns. We lost power during one of the storms only for a few minutes but I couldn’t get the WiFi to work and Siada messaged me back in minutes with what to do. Overall we loved it and I highly recommend staying here

My husband and I rented this property for a weekend away. The cottage we rented was perfect for us. This intimate cottage was very clean and decorated with old-fashioned country vibes. There was even a working VHS player with an assortment of tapes to watch! When we arrived, there was a thoughtful welcome sign for us as well as light snacks (fruits, breakfast biscuits, bottles of water.) Saida even came out for a minute to say hi when we arrived back from dinner our first night. She was super sweet and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

Every thing was lovely, perfect little getaway the cutest little cottage ever very cozy and comfortable, only thing missing is a little fire pit for sitting outside but my husband said that not everyone is as cautious as we are in shutting it down. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The cottage was very cozy, and comfortable. Saidie and her husband were wonderful to rent from. The cottage has a very rustic feel and scent, which we didn't mind at all, but some may. The airconditioner worked very well which was great on this very humid weekend that we were there. :-) It made sleeping comfortable.

Most people won't mind this, but my husband struggles with back issues, so in hindsight selecting a place with a couch to relax at night might have been a better choice for us.
Overall a good stay, and we would recommend if the accommodations suite your needs.

Simple Cozy Cottage

Peaceful!
Communication with the property owner is always easy, and even though I didn’t spend as much time at the property as I had planned (because of my own bad scheduling), it was peaceful and enjoy when I was there. I know I will return!

Cozy Cabin
I don't know if it was the brisk spring air, the leaves coming back, the rabbits running in the huge yard, or the quaint cabin, but we fell in love with this property. We needed a getaway from everything in the city for a couple days and let me tell you this is. Saida and Stan were ever accommodating and made the cabin feel extremely welcoming and comfortable. We felt at home. The cabin is just, well perfect. Thank you Saida and Stan for a great, quick, and much needed escape.

Great getaway in the little charming cottage
Saida and Stan are true SUPER-HOSTS! We had a wonderful time in their lovely tiny cottage! Everything was perfect! We appreciate how sparkling clean and cozy is this cottage. Very comfortable bed, beautiful linens, all necessary toiletries and even welcoming fruits, granola bars and bottled water. All these generous details were touching and appreciated. We found inside everything we needed and even more! The shower is awesome-it has fancy fixture of water volume regulation and soft lightings, and although the bathroom is very small, it's cute, neat, clean and functional.
Upon our arrival the owner - Saida met us and wished us a great stay (the guest cottage is located just a few feet from the hosts' main house). Saida's warm welcoming greetings showed her caring character and we're glad to meet her in person!
We're driving to the Watch Hill RI beach (about 25 min away) , visited Mystic and wonderful Billings lake (just 8 min driving from the cottage). One more thing - the building is very unique and beautiful, the sleeping area is one step up from the kitchen, the bathroom is one step down from the bedroom, so please be aware and careful (I did not notice these steps looking up at beautiful decor and cathedral ceiling, but my husband warned me to watch my steps:). To conclude :We enjoyed our stay and are very grateful for everything! We highly recommend this charming cottage to everyone who wants to relax a few days in a quiet secluded place.

Your own little cabin...
Quiet and secluded, but 20 minutes to the beach and phenomenal restaurants. Also, close to the Rhode Island border. Relaxing; just what we were looking for. Saida answers all your questions promptly, and property description was spot on. Loved it!

Perfect cabin for a getaway!
This quaint little spot was wonderful! The cabin was warm and cozy, inviting and charming! The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure powerful and hot. We loved the wood burning stove for heat and also atmosphere. The cabin had everything we needed, and we loved the addition of the English muffins, fresh butter and jam. We were less than 15 minutes from Mystic- which was ideal. The owner Saida, was a pleasure to work with, very personable and very fair. Such a pretty peice of property, we opened the window blinds to take in the greenery.

Could not of asked for a better experience
Saida and Stan were the perfect hosts. The cottage was absolutely adorable and absolutely what we needed for a long weekend getaway. Centrally located and had everything we needed. It was quirky and cute, right down to the VHS and cassette tape‘s. It was like stepping back in time. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely be return customers! Highly highly recommend this sweet spot.

Wonderful Stay Here
My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. Everything about it from the warm greeting by Saida to the country setting was exactly what we were looking for. Cottage was clean and well kept everything you will need is there. in the fridge we found homemade jam, english muffins and orange juice. Thanks for a great stay looking forward to our next.

It was an incredible place that blew our expectations away!!
My girlfriend and I were looking for a short getaway weekend in Mystic and came across this cottgage. I'm always looking at a million options but what sold me was the reviews as there wasn't one bad review so I figured it had to be a safe bet. Well let me tell you, it absolutely blew our expectations away the second Saida walked us in. Honestly, the pictures do not do justice as the place is so darn cool, very homie with the smell of fresh wood, high ceilings and everything laid out perfectly.
Saida was an incredible host who was there is we needed anything yet gave us the privacy we wanted; it felt like we were staying in a cabin secluded from the world. Yet everything was within 5-15 minutes aways; Foxwoods, downtown Mystic, restaurants, amazing wineries, etc.
I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice weekend away as you will not be disappointed. My girlfriend and I will absolutely be coming back to stay here again in the very near future as it was perfect in every which way.

Romantic little cottage
Perfect for a couple looking for a place to stay. Foxwoods casino is unbelievably close with Mystic and New London a short ride. The place has a small kitchenette with a table and two chairs, a two burner stove, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. The fridge was stocked with milk and OJ as well as some jellies, water bottles and a couple of beers which was unexpected and a nice touch. There was an assortment of cocktail glasses as well as coffee mugs etc.
There was a new air conditioner in the wall but we didn’t need it cuz it got a little chilly but the blankets took good care of us. Stan stopped by to say when we arrived but left us to our privacy. I’d definitely go again

A remarkable little cottage
The photograph accompanying this request for a review is exactly the same view that I photographed of this little cottage. I highly recommend this house to any couple wishing to stay in this area. Besides being very homey, I found it ideally located in the area, allowing easy access to Mystic, Groton and Waterford. In all, I felt very much at home here and will definitely seek to rent here again should I return.

5 star comfort in a cozy rustic retreat!
The cottage was absolutely charming, comfortable and invited us to relax and unwind. The outdoor deck is a wonderful extension to the cottage allowing a place to have a conversation and beverage or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Hosts, Saida and Stan, provided luxurious touches such as a fresh fruit basket, fresh juice in the refrigerator, as well as a supply of other necessary items that one might have forgotten to pack. They were quickly responsive to questions and were warm and inviting hosts.
The cottage was immaculate and in an excellent location: less than 20 minutes to Mystic, Foxwoods, and our favorite Rhode Island beaches!
We definitely plan to return again.
