Le quartier est très sympa, on peut aller à la gare à pied et en bus très facilement. Les futons étaient très confortable, il y avait la climatisation et même un projecteur avec Netflix.

Good location, close to everything, nice neighbourhood
Room was reasonably sized, had the basic facilities
Good value for money, wifi was good, some amenities included
No soundproofed walls, the shower was outside, shared and not very big
It's next to a police station so there are some noise issues at all hours of the day
Garbage disposal is a bit confusing to understand

Mitaka is a nice place to stay. The place can be easily reached by walking or bus from Kichijoji or Mitaka station. The old house has been renovated to some extent and the studio was clean on arrival, hot water in the shared shower works fine. A computer and screen was present, good for doing some work or studying. WiFi works fine.
The airco outside unit of the apartment above us was end-of-life and very noisy, low frequency vibration going through thin walls, this was really annoying at night.
3 beds of very different quality, one was good, two were less good. The shared shower is functional, but the dark basin looks very ugly.
The studio is rented for 3 people, but in fact, cups and plates were only for two. In general, the space is quite small for 3.
BicycleS (plural) are mentioned in the listing, but in fact there was only one bike available. Watch out: Two people on one bike is not allowed in Japan.
The outside area looks a bit run-down, with construction material piling up.
