Eastern European quality when it comes to hospitality and accommodation, a lesson learned

Location is very good, next to bus stop. Dining room/living room is large.

I think we should always pay attention to details and evaluate every aspect of a stay so that the services can be improved later on. The garden is a mess. Tables and chairs and other furniture are located next to unused car tyres. Garden is like a pigsty, it is outrageous, I should have taken pictures about it. Trash under the broken walking board of the porch. Bathrooms are extremely small and crowded. They are cleaned everyday, but several solutions are very Eastern European. Toilet lid needs to be changed. Toilet is sometimes unclean. No mosquito nets on any of the windows. Accommodation looks like a dream of a 16-year-old, it is kitschy, reflects zero style, but this cannot be hold against the owner. Walls are very thin, we could hear others very well. Slamming doors into late nights also occurred Breakfast was said to be fabulous, but it was way too far from it. I had the very same breakfast for at least 3 consecutive mornings. No sausage, no fried egg of any kind, only boiled egg, cheapest cold cuts and the most run-of-the-mill bread from S-Market. Sea-buckthorn juice was the only local stuff they provided. It is a big shame that you cannot get a normal breakfast that would consist of mainly local ingredients, as their variety in Åland is surprisingly huge. The staff sat with us while we were having breakfast. This is unprecedented! When someone wants to spend their holiday, it is flabbergasting to have their otherwise nice host/staff present most of the times. It is sad that this needs to be said. Some of the staff take the seats on the porch where guests could want to sit down. Some of the staff were smoking next to the window of our room! It was a very cheeky thing also to push the guest book to me while I was having my last breakfast at the guesthouse. Biggest problem was that I paid quite a large amount for the accommodation which turned out to be slightly better than a nightmare.

It is near to the port. It is no difficult to walk from port even for my three years old daughter. And the bus station is just in front of the house! Åsa is extremely hospitable. She is so considerate and helpful! Good breakfast, comfortable beds, and a spacious breakfast area/living room. It is definitely kids friendly!

Perfect place to stay when we was on dogshow in Eckerøhallen

Were nice staff and pleacent stay

We got bies in our room. They was in the roof lamp, so we had to leave the room early and change in the bathroom.

Friendly and homelike atmosphere and great breakfast in a quiet location.

Quiet location with a large green yard. Excellent breakfast with boiled eggs, warm rolls, homemade jam, local sea buckthorn juice, fresh coffee, and so on. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. A homelike atmosphere.

Bathrooms and showers are in the hall. During high season and with lots of visitors, they can get a bit untidy from time to time. It's a good idea to keep your flip flops on when in the shower.

We were the only guests staying for the moment but still got very good service from Åsa. She's really interested in her guests and makes sure you feel at home. The breakfast was great and the place overall very nice and well located!

Lovely place and warmly welcomed to the GuestHouse! Perfect location and delicious brekky! <3

Åsa was so kind and lovely when she met us, we felt really warmly welcomed to the Guesthouse. Breakfast was delicious with own Green veggies from the garden and homemade jam. Fedo recommend Åsa and Nalles Gästhem. Perfect location and a short bicycle to the port for dinner. Thank you so much!
