Not bad if better maintained and if it had an additional functioning bathroom and toilet.

Location was great, close to the beach as advertised. Close enough to city centre too. The rooms were spacious. Fireplace heating was pretty good. Bathroom had underfloor heating.

Dusty. There’s only one bathroom with toilet, and the door was sliding without a latch. There was one more toilet at the back which includes the laundry area but it was not functional, there was no water flowing, so we couldn’t use it. For a place that was advertised to be able to accommodate 10 people having just one bathroom was hard. There was only one portable heater.

fabulous location, clean comfy house with everything we needed. need to get better wifi

location was perfect! house was spacious with plenty of beds and even though an older style house with the gas fire and heater it was surprisingly warm at night.

The wifi was terrible. we had to hot spot off our phone off our own data

it was easy to go from A to B due to location

it”s close to the beach and CBD

dusty shelving, the carpet in the bedroom hasn’t been shampooed for so long, the blinds in the bedroom hasn’t been wiped for ages as it looks like it’s got moulds, the bathroom door doesn’t have locks, the dining chairs had got rips in it.

Very good

Large house. Close to the beach. Very short drive to city centre. Lovely back yard

Was not clean as expected. Lots of dust on the shelves and under the beds. The bunk beds were squeaky.

It was comfortable and location was good

Location

I paid for extra people and requested extra bed sheets and nothing was supplied. The back door has a latch missing so couldn't get to the back yard without going out the front and going around.

Felt like home away from home. It was a great stay.

Fantastic location. Road frontage tells a very different story to when you walk through the front door. This house has a great, welcoming, warm feel as you step in. High ceilings, wooden floors, great space and furnished well.

The lack of cleanliness let this place down. I don’t think under the beds and sofas has ever seen a vacuum cleaner. Cobwebs and dust in corners wherever you looked. In fact, I gave the entire house a vacuum. Pillows need to be replaced. They are so thin, using 2 pillows felt like a standard normal pillow. Would we stay here again? Most definitely. The good far out weighs the bad.

Pleasant

Lovely and roomy Great location Loved we could take our dog Two toilets was a bonus Great heating Great oven which made up for no gas in bbq on Xmas day Two good out door living areas

Grubby (lots of cobwebs) finger marks light fittings No gas for Xmas bbq Fire alarms beeped all night ( not checked) 1 automatic fly spray had no batteries Other had no spray hence flies. Too long to solve our major water leek so resolved it our selves temporarily.

Exceptional

Wonderful property, location, comfortable, clean. Close to beach, town but still far enough away to feel relaxed. Outdoor areas were lovely . House was gorgeous, well kept and maintained.

Suggestions more than dislikes. For a property that housed 10 I felt it could’ve had more in the way of kitchen ware. For dishing up or mixing and making food and maybe more in the way of pot ware. It had the standard motel requirement. Lots of cupboards with nothing in them. For long term use a 2nd shower in the laundry would be great especially for the max pax. Also more seating outside (back yard) would be useful too when the max accom is reached. Lastly and these are only suggestions for future client comforts gleaned from our own observations of living in it, the lounge is long and maybe cushions or sheepskin rugs on the hearth area away from the fire (of course), or a couple of single ottomans encouraging people to sit around, would be more conducive with group conversations otherwise seating is limited unless you move dining chairs which is not ideal, otherwise your group feels quite detached from one another. Just an observation as I say. But the house was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time, no complaints there. Thank you
