Hotel in a peaceful location but the road leading to it is in bad condition.

A nice stay with a little room for improvement

We are really happy with the service provided by one Mr. Sasi, he was doing the solo show. It was informed that they were understaffed due to some unavoidable reasons but the impressive part is all the staff were able to do a good job. For the rent, I would say that the place and facilities are exceptional. So I am happy with the service, staff and facilities.

The major issue is the location. You have to strain a little to reach the steep place and Google maps are also a little confusing to reach the spot. It would be nice if an option for lunch is also added by next time. It would be great if the room is also installed with a thermostat.

The stay was lovely. The staff are excellent. Decent WIFI. The breakfast was awesome, with a homely feeling.

The location is a bit far (4 km) from the centre and needs to climb steeply if you don't have a vehicle. Since it is away from the centre, it is calm and quiet.

Good for 2 to 3 nights. Eat in town.

The view from our room was amazing. They accommodated our need for extra towels, toilet paper and extra blankets. The food tasted really good. We didn't fall sick. The TV worked. Shower was hot, bathroom was clean. I would stay here again because considering the other options in Kodaikanal, its good value and better.

The bed had some hairs. This place doesn't bleach their towels and bedding but aside from old stains, it was clean. The food took way too long to be made, at least 40 mins after they told us it was ready. No heating or cooling. We asked to check out early becuase of travel plans and the guy didn't show up for an hour after we called. The roads to the hotel are steep and not maintained but thats not their fault, that's on the council. You must hire a bigger car to stay here. WiFi does not reach rooms.

Excellent

Excellent property. Very nice ambiance. Very different from other hotels. Tranquil has lawns, play area, camp fire are and a beautiful balcony view. It is definitely a calm and silent place to have a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent and very homely. The staffs were very helpful and attentive. Very good service. very clean and spacious room with all the basic amenities present.

Hotel was good but the location was so bad, it is so far away from the main centre that everytime we had a book a cab to go to town to eat dinner ( there was no restaurant and the breakfast was not good as well). One good thing about this hotel is it's manager Sashi, he went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Very poor

Affordable Stay with more challenges to burn more calories to climb up and down the cliff to reach the location.

Let me tell you 5 con points before considering this location for Stay in Kodaikanal. 1. The property is located very remote to the city and located on a cliff top couldn’t even think of walking , which means I would not recommend this place if you don’t have own transport / Car. 2. Climbing down or up the hill from property cost 300 INR for a Taxi which becomes too expensive and the Property doesn’t have vehicle even to support emergency. 3. Food is a straight turn off where they provide only south Indian breakfast with Primarily no change in the menu only Idly and Dosa with some Toast. 4. Room Service is not that great as there is only one person managing the property you can expect to get things happen quickly ( Even for a Milk Powder request for Tea). 5. The Place is Surrounded by Chain of unhygienic Restaurants ordering in Swiggy and Zomato would not help as there is not even a single Pure Veg or Jain Restaurant nearby.

Very good

Rooms were neatly maintained with almost all facilities. Good view from balcony. Excellent south indian style breakfast. Would recommend.

Kitchen only functional during breakfast and dinner hours. No lunch availiable. Also rooms are not air conditioned.
