Nestled in Webbs Creek, this lovely house for $210 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Your break at DC Hawkesbury Get-A-Way is only 60 kms North-West of Sydney's CBD, 40 minutes from Hornsby. Your relaxation begins after a 3 minutes drive from the scenic Wisemans Ferry crossing, on the road to St Albans. Your water front cabin has all the modern conveniences and amenities including an outdoor kitchen & alfresco dining area under a large shaded pergola with ceiling fans. The cabin has 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (bunks) and a double sofa bed in the living room. There is an outdoor projector with large screen and a large selection of movies. Your own private boat ramp, pontoon and river access for boating, canoeing, fishing and water skiing. Our hosts were very friendly and delighted me and my boys with a short boat adventure in ge river! The accomodation was very clean and today and the BBQ area a lovely place to sit and entertain! Unfortunately there was a hiccup with the plumbing towards the end of our stay, but we weren’t too fussed as we had Aug a lovely time overall. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our weekend stay at this great property. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing few days- pizza oven, canoes, right on the river. Dog friendly too so our 4 legged family came too! Can't wait to stay again! Thanks Corinne and Dave.

Fabulous weekend get away!
We loved our weekend stay at this great property. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing few days- pizza oven, canoes, right on the river. Dog friendly too so our 4 legged family came too! Can't wait to stay again! Thanks Corinne and Dave.

Perfect spot for Sydney weekend away
Private and right on the water, plenty of shelter to get out of sun, as we were there on the 40degree weekend.
And a plus is it is only an hour from Sydney

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the weekend at your wonderful little cabin.
We were really comfortable and could not have asked for a better experience.
Corinne was a wonderful host and we just loved the scenery- a little piece of paradise! The kids enjoyed getting out on the water and fishing too. They also enjoyed watching the geese and cows across the river. We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us 👍💕

Great little spot,
Enjoyed the pizza oven, outdoor cinema, fishing off the jetty, using the kayaks.
The owners were very helpful in helping us when we needed them, otherwise they gave us complete privacy.

Lovely break
The property was as described. It was clean and functional and had enough space. Well located with a lovely outlook and close enough to shops (via the ferry). It did have an outdoor kitchen which was a bit warm cooking on a hot day, but a burst of A/C once inside helped. Great hosts, stayed out of the way but we always available via phone if necessary. Thank you.

Very disappointing and extremely poor value
What a pity. I read too much into the pretty photo of the outside area looking towards the river. The cabin was functional but lacked the basic cooking ingredients, condiments and other supplies, eg, mosquito repellent and candles, we have enjoyed in other homes. It was almost impossible to lock up. The cupboard and drawers in the kitchen areas were not particularly clean. The electricity in the main bedroom didn't work. Two tea towels are not enough when entertaining and plastic serving platter ordinary. Most of the tourist magazines were out of date. I picked up a handful of metal bottle tops that had been left in the outside area; it appeared they had been there for some time. I could not find an iron. The kayaks were unclean. There was nothing but fluorescent lighting in the main living area. Some soft lighting would have been appreciated especially in such a tranquil natural area. Ongoing noise from the neighbours, day and night, killed all quiet enjoyment we had hoped for. Very disappointing.

Awesome little weekend
A little weekend like that was exactly what we needed. Beautiful part of the river and only a few mins drive from shops/pub @ Wisemans Ferry. We were literally right on the water with our own little dock. Large entertaining area if you have a group with a bbq and big movie projector. Right on the doorstep of Sydney but feels another world a way. I recommend Corinne and her property to anyone. Oh and we also got to take our bulldog Boo Boo! We'll be back.

A great escape for the week
A great little get away that is close to great fishing and services if you need them. Dave was our night in shining armor when our boat broke down and went well a truly out of his way to help us back to camp - a hugh thank you for your help. We will be back for another boys fishing trip (when the wife lets us). Thanks Guys a great week was had.

Great getaway on the Macdonald river
Our family of 4 plus the dog spent 3 relaxing days by the river. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Jack the 'family butler' who gave us a quick tour and a basket of fresh eggs.
The lack of wifi plus very poor mobile reception made it difficult to research things to do in the area. However, these minor issues were more than compensated by the excellent outdoor entertainment area, use of the private jetty, supplied canoes, kayaks and life jackets and a huge choice of movies.
Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a laid back getaway.

Great place with everything at your fingertips and so much to do
We stayed for one night with friends and did so many activities in our private waterfront place. The hostess was great and very helpful. We’ll definitely be back soon really recommend it.

It's not what you expect.
Corrine and Dave were friendly and more than happy to go the extra mile. We were left alone to enjoy the surroundings and all the features of the accommodation that made an enjoyable night. We fished off the pontoon and caught a handful of keepers and a mud crab, so don't let the depths fool you and more importantly fish at the change of tides.

Great place to sleep/relax!
We had a short but lovely time in the boathouse. The river and property is so peaceful, I could have slept all day long. Corrinne and David were amazingly accomodating and really went above and beyond to get us out of a logistics bind! Thank you so much to you both! I recommend this place and the hosts very highly!

Peaceful and Beautiful
We had an amazing stay at Dave and Corrine's lovely property with our pooch Mayo. The views of the river are stunning and the outdoor fire pit was very cozy. We loved the outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and BBQ. Thanks to you both for handling all our queries and being so laid back. We will definitely be back!
