About this house rental

Located in Lake Placid, this charming house for $400 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Veranda 2 is a 5 Bedroom 3 bath luxury vacation rental located next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the center of the Village of Lake Placid. This unit is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a completely remodeled estate home with mountain and lake views. The 2nd floor offers a large living area with a faux electric fireplace and a large flat screen tv open to a spacious kitchen and features a deck for outdoor living, 2 bedrooms each with a king bed and their own bath. The 3rd floor has 3 smaller bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other two have 1 queen bed each; there is 1 bath on the 3rd floor as well. The bedrooms do not offer TVs. The Historic Lake Placid Club boasts 45 holes of Championship Golf, extensive mountain biking and cross-country skiing trail systems. This property is operated and located next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel and guests may enjoy our indoor pool, hot tub, fitness facilities and seasonal private beach on Mirror Lake. We do allow dogs. Maximum 2 dogs. Pet fee of $150.00 plus tax. While we provide an initial supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and trash bags to get you through the first 24 hours, we recommend you bring the following: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap, coffee and coffee filters, and anything else you may need for the perfect vacation. CHECK IN IS 4:00PM and CHECK OUT IS 10:00AM. We will contact you on the day of arrival with the door code as soon as the rental is ready.

This was our 4th year staying at the Veranda 2 and it was perfect like always! Amazing location with INCREDIBLE views of the lake. Love that we have access to the pool at the hotel next door. Room for everyone to have their own space but also a great area around the kitchen, dining room, living room for gathering! Seriously can't get any better!

Family trip with 4 adults and 6 kids (age range 5-17). House was clean and well stocked. The 3 bedrooms up were perfect for the kids. Deck overlooking Lake Placid had a great blend of sun and shade. Having 2 primary suites on the main floor was really nice as well. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Walking distance to downtown. This property is awesome. We will definitely be back!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The house has an incredible view of Mirror Lake and we enjoyed the use of the Crown Plaza pool and hot tub. We were able to walk to Main Street for dinner each night and were very close to all of the Olympic sites including Whitfwce for skiing.

Perfect location with access to Crowne Plaza pool and hot tub (teens loved it!) Short walk to ice skating and main street. There were 8 of us 2 couples and 4 kids - 5 to 16. Beds and baths were great. A great night and day view from the kitchen and tv room. Easy to accommodate pets walking on the quiet road and in the back. The Corgi loved the deep snow! Plenty of parking. We cooked in for four nights and the kitchen supplies are thin. I would suggest a take out dinner first night unless you have time to shop. We are serious about coming back next year. If you have a need you can walk to the hotel next door. They were helpful. Second floor has a lot of stairs that did not bother us. The 5 year old considered it an adventure! We had a great 4 days. JH

My wife and I stayed here with two young kids (7 and 4) and my parents for a ski trip to Whiteface. Plenty of space, with room to spare. Great kitchen, though could be better stocked (had to buy sponges, paper towels, placemats). The table was big enough for us all to eat at. Fantastic location in the middle of the village of Lake Placid, and 20 minutes from Whiteface. My wife used the Crowne Plaza gym, which she liked. The restaurant was good for the family. We'll be back next year!

Pictures on the listing don’t do this house justice. It’s spacious, beds are so comfortable, and the location is perfect! At the top of the hill overlooking Main St and Mirror Lake, the views are incredible and the walk to town is so quick!

My family just returned from celebrating Christmas in Lake Placid. We rent a house annually as our tradition in this year was a Crowne Plaza’s home. Everything was as it was described in the posting, but just a few things to note. The kitchen definitely needs some basic utensils like bottle and wine openers, but we were creative until we were able to buy something. The oven was not working as it should, taking longer to cook things. All in all the house was accommodating and Ray was very quick to reply to questions. The view was the best! Thank you Lake Placid and Crowne for another great year!!!!

Property was fantastic. Great view off the deck. Great couch and chair arrangement for catching up with those who have not seen each other’s for years. Great kitchen table to have leisurely breakfast. Convenient to walk downtown for shopping and eating. Variety of bedrooms to choose from and all slept great. Easy access to hotel across the street.

We enjoyed our holiday vacation at Veranda 2. It was very clean and so spacious. My husband and I had 6 teens with us ranging in age from 15-19 and there was more than enough space to accommodate them. The house is next to the hotel so the kids could use the indoor pool and gym. Easy walk to town and a quick drive to Whiteface mountain. The view is amazing especially from the 3rd-floor bedroom! You won't be disappointed staying at Veranda. We hope to be back soon!

This rental exceeded our expectations. The walls doors and floors were beautifully lined with wood and very spacious for the amount of people we had. The view was perfect and it was a perfect location close to the town that we could walk and get breakfast. We will be staying here again!
