Situated in Lake Placid, this attractive house for $500 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Classic large Lake Placid Village home perfect for large groups Newly renovated village home on Parkside Drive with large driveway and parking for 5 cars. Welcoming front yard and porch. Original Douglas Fir and Red Pine flooring, with closets throughout. Front entrance of first floor has breezeway leading into expansive full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, and ample cupboards. Full bathroom with tub and shower. 2 tastefully decorated bedrooms that have 1 King and 1 Queen size mattress. Large furnished living room with Smart TV with HBOMax, Netflix, and Prime and fast Wi-Fi throughout the house. Rear entrance has office and laundry area. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. One bedroom with1 King size bed, and bedrooms with 3 Queen size beds. There is also one full bathroom upstairs. In total there are 6 bedrooms. 2 King size and 4 Queen size mattresses with one bed per bedroom. There is also an inflatable bed that can be put in a larger bedroom if there are more than 12 guests. The house can also be rented along with the 2 bedroom cottage next door for larger groups. Send me a message for more information. The neighborhood is a quiet tree lined street with Mt. Peak Views. It is a wonderful location in walking distance to the Village Shops, Lakes, Golf Course, and Walking Trails. Getting Around: The home is located in walking distance to village shops,restaurants, lakes and attractions. Check the map one of the best locations in town! There are Taxi Cabs Spring, Summer, Fall Free 'Molly The Trolly' makes stops all around the community Winter there is a Shuttle Bus to Whiteface Mt. License: 200175

Josh’s home was an ideal choice for our family gathering of 9 adults and 2 dogs. It was in a perfect location for walking to the lake, LP Brewery, into town and enjoying everything that Lake Placid has to offer. It was well equipped and very clean. I honestly didn’t want to leave. We spent much of our time on the spacious front porch, enjoying the view and the neighborhood. I highly recommend Josh’s place for a large group and hope to return one day.

This home away from home had everything we needed. The bathroom was newly redone & the kitchen had plenty of space for us. Very conveniently located to the Olympic Arena. We would highly recommend staying here (instead of hotel) if you like having your own room - 6 bedrooms were more than enough for our two families. Slept great!

We rented the house for a week and had a great time in Lake Placid. The house is close to everything. Well stocked and well taken care of. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the group and the listing matched the house well.

We had a blast. The location was perfect and everything was as advertised. We got there during a snow event and they had everything shoveled and plowed. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had to rebook our stay due to family members having covid, so I cannot comment on the house. I can say that Josh is an excellent host and was extremely accommodating, understanding, responsive and easy to work with. Our family is looking forward to our upcoming stay in his home.

This house is conveniently located to Main st. Restaurants, shops, beach are all within walking distant. The house is well stocked and the owner is very responsive to questions. I would not hesitate to go back especially when traveling with a large group.

This is overall a good property that has an excellent location. We stayed here with 8 adults and 2 pre-teens and everyone had a good time. I rated this 4 stars but would do 4.5 stars if that were an option. Only real issues were (1) the house is a bit dated, especially the upstairs bathroom with a crazy loud fan and cabinet doors falling off in the kitchen, (2) a construction zone next door that started up at 7am that woke everyone, and (3) no A/C which made the house a sweat locker for a couple days when it was 90 plus outside. We still had fun and would go back.

Great house for Ironman
Great property for our large group who came up for the Ironman. The house has plenty of space and is quiet! Great location - walkable to beach and town. Perfect for Ironman viewing - a great home base while cheering on your athlete. Josh was also very helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the Main Street and great attractions. We had a great experience with the owner and we were well prepared.

The location is awesome - a short walk from town (great shops, restaurants and skating) and only a 20 minute drive to the mountain. Josh, the host was extremely responsive - from my initial questions before booking, to the couple of questions we had while at the house, it was very easy to get in touch with him. Also, there was a big snowstorm while we were there, and he made sure to send a maintenance man to the house to shovel the driveway and walkway. Our stay could not have been any better - I highly recommend this property!!

Lots of room 6 bedrooms
Good layout with shared bathrooms. Roomy living room. Good beds. Dishwasher needs to be updated it will not dry the dishes. Smart TV in living room. We would rent again. The kitchen what we needed made full dinners each night.

Everything was as advertised. Great location with easy walking to Olympic Center and downtown. Property manager very available and helpful. Well equipped kitchen as we were cooking for a large group. Our team had a blast!!

Wedding weekend @ Lake Placid
I found this property a while ago and I reserved it to help us to follow protocols for COVID. It worked out perfectly for us even though we didn’t need to worry quite so much when the weekend came. Much of our activity was at the waterfront of Mirror Lake and that was an easy walk from this rental. Having 5 off street parking spaces was a real plus. The bedrooms were lovely and everyone mentioned that the.beds were very comfortable. Best part was the front porch. We spent a fair amount of time there. All in all, a very nice rental experience.

Our group was big enough that, overnight, we spilled into one of the lodges at High Peaks Cyclery, just a few steps away. Josh helped us get in touch with the owners there, and the proximity between the two places couldn't have worked much better.
Josh was extremely helpful as we were trying to find something that could accommodate the group, and with a lot of general guidance. The house had everything we needed and more, was clean and comfortable and, to my wife's discerning eye, was even nicer in reality than in the photos.
All around, a great experience with Josh and his house.

Very clean house - exactly as listed
House was very nice, exactly as listed. Actually I thought it looked nicer in person then in the pictures. We had 2 families staying for the weekend, so 6 bedrooms was perfect. We also cooked both nights and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Note that the kitchen table had a leaf that was in the closet - we added it, so that came in handy with a larger group. You could walk to town and about 15 minutes to WhiteFace for skiing. I had a few questions prior to my arrival and they were answered immediately and very helpful property owner.

So close to everything! House is warm and the coldest winter day. Owner very responsive and we had a great time in Lake Placid. Felt very safe during Covid times. Ice skating in rink and on the lake. Thanks.
