About this lodge
LEGACY MOUNTAIN LODGE is the perfect place for a quick getaway, extended vacation, girls trip or hunting adventure. You will enjoy any season from the comfort of our well equipped lodge.
We're minutes away from Wolf Creek, some of the best powder skiing in the country, or take a hike, go fishing, soak in the springs and browse our shops, finishing with a great meal at one of our eateries.
Then head back to the lodge to enjoy a soak in our inviting hot tub, and watch the stars by the firepit.
Wake up to the amazing views of the San Juan Mountains, enjoying them with your morning coffee or cocktails at sunset, or both!

At Legacy Mountain Lodge you’ll find breathtaking views of the mountains which you can enjoy from sunrise to sunset. From coffee on the balcony to a cocktail enjoyed in the hot tub. Pagosa is an ideal place to relax, unwind, play and rejuvenate. The lodge takes all these things to the next level with the best hot tub views in town and plenty of games to entertain for the whole family.
The Lodge sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms.
All the beds were custom made by our son and each is fitted with a new Nectar mattress. There is a King sized Master on the main floor, 2 upstairs bedrooms with Queen beds..
The master suite has a large tv and full bath with a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo and the lower floor Bonus room has a 3/4 bathroom with shower and a large Smart TV perfect for watching movies.
You’ll have no problem cooking at home if you want to. The updated kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need and more including extras like a waffle iron and slow cooker. Dish soap, sponges and trash bags also included. You might actually enjoy doing the dishes in our kitchen because you can see the peaks from the sink!
Legacy Mountain Lodge provides a full spectrum of fun and and relaxation for any age. The family room has a 55” TV over a beautiful custom stone fireplace, and an incredible view of the mountains, providing a peaceful retreat. Easy access to to the deck, with its rocking chairs, extra large picnic table and propane grill, creates a perfect way to enjoy our amazing view!
There is a game table in the open loft upstairs which also gives access to a view of the mountains along with the family room TV and fireplace.
The downstairs basement offers access to entertainment with a 65” TV, foosball table, mini fridge, microwave, propane fireplace, and a sliding glass door that leads to the porch with hot tub, FIREPIT and seating for enjoying the view of the San Juan mountains.
To complete the fun we have “The Shed” behind the Lodge which houses a full size pool table, giant JENGA, ladder golf, corn hole, and bacci along with 3 barrel tables and chairs.
The house is fully stocked with linens including spare sheets, towels, and ‘beach’ towels for the hot tub. It’s also stocked with toilet paper and facial tissues.
Have little ones? We have a portable crib in the bonus room. There is a toddler toilet seat/step stool and a baby gate stored in the laundry room.

SUMMERTIME ACTIVITIES
Fishing, Hiking, biking, horseback riding, ATV’s, golf, Disc golf, Kayaking, White Water Rafting, and soaking in the world’s deepest Hot Springs, are all nearby. Historic downtown Pagosa, just 3 miles away, provides wonderful shopping and antiquing and dining.
WINTERTIME ACTIVITIES
Wolf Creek Ski Area, Alpine and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, dog sledding, snow mobiles and sled hills are at your fingertips, as well as antiquing and shopping in historical downtown Pagosa.
Winter is the best time to experience the World’s Deepest Hot Springs!

WOW!!! What a beautiful home with amazing views. Spacious, clean, so many amenities! Loyce and Rick are very gracious hosts! When we got in, the electricity went out. I called right away and Loyce kept me posted on the it until it was back on. We had a wedding celebration here and it was absolutely perfect! You must stay if you come to Pagosa!

Wonderful family vacation with my children and grandchildren! The view of the mountains from the living area was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and home was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub to relax in after a hard day of skiing. The firepit was a very nice feature as well. Couches were very relaxing and loved all the extra blankets! Also, appreciated all the TV options, especially with the grandkids in the evening. Awesome time.
