Great location, near train stn and bus routes to museums. Lovely appointed and very comfy room with a separate toilet room to the bath and shower. Had a corner unit which gave us more sq mt than usual. Updated hotel as well with a fitness room. Breakfast buffet was the best yet with a wide variety of choices and we’ve been here travelling for a month and can’t say that’s true elsewhere. Staff were pleasant and responsive. 10 out of 10.
Only thing we can recall was the bed was a more firmer mattress than what we had been getting usually while travelling in Hokkaido but a firmer bed isn’t unusual in Japan.

What a wonderful surprise upon arrival to discover this amazing hotel. I think that it just opened so I'm happy that I found it for my group travels in northern Japan. The location was easy walk from the train station and accessible to much of the city center of Aomori. The staff was extremely helpful with checking in a group of 12 as well as holding our luggage until check in or after check out. We did not choose the breakfast option, but several of us went to the same restaurant for lunch and it was delightful.
You can't change the way a building was built, but it's important to note that the reception is on the second floor accessible either by elevator or stairs. It's a slightly hidden entrance which is beneficial, but possibly confusing for the first time finding the door.

Free bottle of water in the room. The happy feeling that I will never stay in a Daiwa Roynet hotel again.
Zero staff interaction in this hotel. Zero hospitality. Uncomfortable HARD bed. Uncomfortable HARD sofa. Breakfast restaurant full with a “come back later” response. Location amongst Aomori’s dead and dying shopping area.
