Great clean apartment with everything you would need, amazing views along the coast and easy walking distance to shops and the Tram

Instructions for gaining entry to the apartment could be better but the owner came to site to aid us in entry after we requested it

The apartment was amazing, very clean and has all you need (no oven), the views are incredible in the day but so stunning at night as you can see for miles, the building was getting a makeover and it is just beautiful, I would highly recommend this apartment and the area, all residents were very friendly and courteous. Everyone wore masks in shops and in restaurants when not at the table, staff wore masks at all times, lots of people wore masks outside which is not mandatory, but this made us feel really safe, children wore masks in school all day, on the way home we noticed they did not take them off which we thought was really respectful! There were lots to do as the apartment is on the beach and there are beach bars nearby and sunbeds for hire, it is only a 10-minute ride from Alicante on the tram (you pay the ticket on the tram using a machine, was really cheap), Alicante is steeped in history, we did the free tour which was amazing and took lots of tips from the host on where to eat and drink. Museums, the castle and churches are all free to enter, also no rules for women to cover knees and shoulders in churches. There is an Aldi just a few minutes walk from the apartment and we got fresh bread, cheese, meats and croissants every day for breakfast plus lovely wine and they have a good beer selection. It is very cheap to eat out, beer is typically 2 euro and tapas about 3 euro.

There was a bit of confusion on finding the apartment, we did eventually get in but, as we don't speak Spanish, no instructions were given, the owner just left the keys, this was the only issue which was really minor and we were exhausted, for anyone else as there are no apartment numbers or names on the doors the location of the apartment is the 3rd block (the right-hand side when at the back of the building), the apartment is on the 12th floor and the door is to the left when you come out of the lift, the door was wooden, the other 2 have white doors.

Still other apartments being build and dust and noise if building work early morning can be disturbing.

Everything was perfect! the flat, the view!, decoration, comfort, cleanliness, facilities, location, etc. It's an amazing place to stay and the owner makes you feel like home. I recommend it 1000% !!!
