We loved the large bedroom, plenty of room to put your suitcases down. The large bed which was very comfortable and lovely pillows.
The bathroom was very good and clean with a great shower. There was a small safe in the room which was easy to use. The Aircon worked well and kept the room temperature comfortable.
The restaurant had a good breakfast selection for you to choose from, self service, and they gave you a selection of coffees and egg dishes to choose from.
The "heritage" theme was great with old style telephone, bathroom taps and shower, plus a beautiful washing bowl.
The staff were great, very helpful and pleasant.
There are many historic and tourist sights within easy walking distance and the Blue hop-on hop-off river bus is a 20 minute walk away.
This hotel is very near the top of our favourites and one we are happy to revisit and recommend.
I didn't much care for the way the eggs were overcooked underneath and undercooked on top.

Great stay. The staff are lovely and genuinely attentive — always available and happy to help. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast does the job.
One note on the location: the street can be a bit surprising at first, but it is actually safe and the position is ideal — the Grand Palace and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. Recommended.

Very unlike the pictures.
The surrounds of the neighbourhood terrible. Bit rundown and very overpriced.
