We are located just steps to the warm waters of Mission Bay and the beautiful blue surf of the Pacific Ocean! This is the perfect home for a family of 10 people or a small group of mature friends (up to 6 people). These numbers include any potential day visitors. We do not differentiate between overnight guests and visitors. HOUSE DETAILS 824 Ormond is a beautiful, sun-filled three-story home with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a spacious patio (shared with the other unit). Our family friendly beach town-home with its bay and ocean views is just a 15 second walk from the bay and a minute from the ocean! 1st LEVEL The first floor offers a nice shared patio area with a gas grill and comfortable seating. This area is perfect for warm summer nights or just relaxing during the day while the little ones nap inside! The first level also features two bedrooms. One room offers a queen bed and has tile flooring and French doors that open up to the patio area, the other offers a twin and a double bed and has wood flooring. This area also features a bathroom and a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, sink and plenty of cabinets. 2nd LEVEL The second floor offers a beautiful light and comfortable living and dining area (with window AC), a balcony as well as bathroom and a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots and pans, all utensils and everything you will need for your family meals! The spacious living area offers two queen-size sofa (one is a sleeper) allowing this home to comfortably accommodate up to ten guests (perfect for multi-family vacations)! There is satellite TV, DVD, and a stereo for your convenience. This middle level with its open floor plan is extremely bright and airy. Lots of windows make this home let in the sea air and the sun - perfect for your vacation! The balcony is a perfect place for sipping your morning coffee and relaxing to the quiet serenity of the 'bay-side of life”. 3rd LEVEL The top floor is a fabulous master bedroom suite with wood flooring and a private 100 sq.ft. balcony viewing Mission Bay. Don't miss our famous Sea World's nightly fireworks display. The master bedroom also has two skylights and bright, light décor. This room offers wall AC, a queen-size bedroom set, two closets and a full bath with tub and shower. It measures approximately 7.10' W X 30' D X 7' H. For those of you with SUVs, please verify your car's dimensions as we do not have alternate parking. AMENITIES Enjoy the luxury of cable TV, high speed internet, window AC in living room & Master bedroom as well as laundry in garage. Linens, towels, beach towels, blow dryers, iron, iron board, boogie boards, beach chairs, high chair and pack 'n play are provided for your convenience. SUPPLIES The house offers everything you might possibly need, including supplies such as: laundry, hand, dishwasher and dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge and of course all fresh, spotless and clean linens and bath towels. Please note we do not replenish supplies. LOCATION Located in the heart of Mission Beach, it is within easy walking distance to great local restaurants, shops as well as to the Mission Bay Aquatic Center. PLEASE NOTE For "friend"/"adult only" groups we can agree to 6 people max and all must be over 35 years old. We absolutely do not want to rent to anyone that is intending to party at the house. We have a NO smoking and NO pet policy. Due to suffering from severe allergies, we would very much appreciate if people that plan to bring a service pet try to find a place that is pet friendly (please!). Kindly understand that at rare occasions we might not be able to move forward if a time frame requested does not fit well in our calendar. In this instance we will ask you to shift your dates or offer you alternatives if available. BOOKING PROCESS Once we received your request to book, we will email you our rental agreement for an electronic signature. Once it has been filled out/signed by you and agreed to by us, we will then charge your credit card for the down-payment of 25% of the room rate and confirm your booking. No money will be held or charged from us until you filled out and signed our rental agreement. CANCELLATION POLICY (PLEASE NOTE IT DIFFERS FROM VRBO) 25% of the room rate will be due upon reservation (once the rental agreement has been signed). The remaining balance will be due 30-60 days prior arrival (depending on the length of your stay). Once paid these amounts are non-refundable. You do have the option to purchase travel insurance. We will send all details once your booking is confirmed. DAMAGE DEPOSIT We require a $500 refundable damage deposit.
