Purr-fect host, Meow-morable Stay!

We absolutely LOVED the place and enjoyed our stay. The host's expertise in hospitality shines through. Nancy was there to check us in. I really appreciated the attention to detail. The fresh flowers on the bed and the bathroom, the multiple towels, kikois, the thoughtful inclusion of contact information for any possible needs, Watamu guidebooks, and a collection of novels – every aspect of our stay was carefully considered. We had the entire pool to ourselves. It felt so cosy and private. The hosts responded to any queries we had and Nancy was such a delight. I loved that we were also able to check out in the afternoon without any rush. I'd love to come stay here again if I'm ever in watamu. Breakfast was fruits, toast, juice and tea or coffee. They have a kitchen where you can prepare meals. Plus, we couldn't help but fall in love with their charming cats, one of which sported a delightful mustache 😂. We were told about a resident tortoise, but regrettably, we missed the chance to meet it.

While our stay had many positives, there were a couple of aspects worth noting. The initial route provided by Google Maps from the tarmac to the house was really bad. However, we later discovered a much better murram road, so I recommend seeking directions from the locals or engaging with the host for guidance. One minor point to consider was the breakfast, which we found to be somewhat light for our preferences. It consisted of two slices of bread, fruits, tea, and juice. If you're accustomed to heartier breakfasts with proteins, this might not completely satisfy your morning appetite. Of course, this could be a personal preference, and it may not be a concern for everyone.

The host was very nice, the house was cozy and nice, I also loved the late check out provision since our flight was delayed.

Was abit far from amenities like supermarkets and restaurants therefore need to plan early but there are readily available boda bodas

Home away from home

Beautiful accomodation in a peaceful environment. Hilarious cats that kept us company so now and then. Lauren is a very sweet and caring lady. We will definitely come back!

Pleassnt rooms in a lovely relaxing setting with considerate host.

Pleasent host, rooms were clean and well presented. Breakfast was lovely. Very quiet and relaxing.

Difficult to find. Needs clearer sign on the gate. Neighbours dogs barking late at night.

beautiful place close to nature, nice interior, a lot of room, nice pool, fruit for breakfast, it was very quite, Lauren had a list of recommended tuktuk drivers who were very reliable

amazing place, ideally located close to papa Remi and main road. very quiet and relaxing very charming! Lauren gave us a warm welcome and was really accommodating, thank you very much for it. would strongly recommend!

Lovely house unprofessional host

It was stylishly furnished, the garden is lovely, pool is clean. Breakfast is excellent.

The shared kitchen could do with a bit more attention and many of the kitchen items were missing from the list described. The host who lives at the property is negative, her comments can be borderline racist and unprofessional. Furthermore, she insulted me and spoke to me in a unacceptable manner despite of the fact that the misunderstanding arose to due to her communication error.

Everything is amazing! Laurin is a perfect host. She is amazing! Super attentive to details, always available, helpful for every need and ready to fulfill our every request. It was like hanging out in heaven, no rumors, sun and the colors of nature.

We loved our stay at Huhuru house. Lauren masters the art of hosting. She provides privacy whilst being available for questions and requests. She was kind enough to show us around, introduced us to the locals and healed us with homemade remedies. She has an eye for detail - aestetically pleasing breakfasts, nice decorations and a lovely garden will brighten your day. Not only that, she is very interesting to talk to. Our favorite moments during our stay were when we spent time with her. We are thankful to have met her and to have stayed at her lovely property.

Hamza and Lau were awesome. They were so kind to come pick me up from the airport 🙂. The Fresh breakfast Hamza served so heartily made me not want to leave and I felt right at home. They were always very helpful and informative of places to visit for a meal or a Sundowner. Thank You for the Amazing Hospitality Guys and Hopefully all come back Soon!! I took videos of the place so am unable to share the pictures.!! I took for the breakfast though!!

Very quick and easy check-in process. The hosts are so warm, lovely and very helpful. Great room, amenities and pool! The breakfast was good, with home made freshly baked bread and cake! We'll definitely stay there again when in Watamu.

Laurence is a great host! There was nothing missing, every detail was just perfect. We enjoyed our open air room on first floor which was spectacular! The breakfast that Laurence made were soo delicious. I would come back in a minute if I could. Thank you very much for staying at your place and I hope I could come back soon.
