A much-needed retreat that was very rewarding!

The room were very comfortable, The Breakfast was amazing and Hillary was an amazing host. The area restaurants had excellent food. A very peaceful experience.

Charming hidden gem in Union Pier perfect for a relaxing getaway weekend

We are so lucky we found this beautiful bed and breakfast for a quick weekend trip for my husband's 30th birthday. Hillary was the most accommodating and friendly host we've ever had. You can tell she's so passionate about her business and the stay was nothing short of perfect. We were able to bring our dog, Aldi, too, which was a huge bonus for us. The room, the common area, the garden, the service - everything exceeded our expectations. Hillary was always quick to reply and answer our questions if we had any. She gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and was always around to accommodate any other questions we had. She made us the BEST breakfast on Saturday morning. We left early on Sunday so we let her know we weren't going to sit down for breakfast again, so she made us coffee cake to go instead. It was honestly the best coffee cake I've ever had.. I'm still thinking about it. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back one day. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with the friendliest host in Union Pier, you have to stay here!

I can't think of anything that could've been better besides maybe the weather, but even that was better than we were expecting :)

Overall a good stay. Loved the breakfast and a great visit with the other guests at breakfast.

Hilary has done a good job overall. Lovely setting, close to all. She is friendly and welcoming. Very efficient and the breakfast was excellent. I admire anyone that takes on a venture like this.

Devil is in the details. Bed and breakfasts are about emotion. The rooms were efficient and very spacious. Bed was comfortable, liked the fireplace, but it felt too stark. I got the feeling the minimal was about not wanting to put nails in the wall etc..Add 2 nice pieces of local art and even sell that. Nice pottery pieces for dishes ( again could offer to sell). Walls are extremely thin and you hear everything( guests were respectful but a nice big rug would make a world of difference, as would nice box fan in the room. A nice throw( could even sell it). Movie package: sell the popcorn and red vine, with a light soda. Efficient is ok. Cozy and welcoming will win repeats given so many choices. Shampoo bar was a big bust. To be environmental add a nice wall mount to the shower room and fill with great products ( as that is not a throw away and low quality) and again if I like it, sell me samples to go. Little light music playing etc...

Hospitality from the host, Hilary, was amazing. Food was great. Place was clean and well decorated.

Nice place

Hillary was very welcoming. Just walking through the door, the place smelled wonderful. The location was quiet, as was the inn. The decor was very nice, with lots cute Christmas decorations. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the room was very clean. It was nice to relax in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed our stay.

The taxi driver that was recommended seemed to charge excessive amounts for short distance rides

Superb

Delicious food, plenty of it. Location is convenient and not overcrowded. Public beach right down the road. Inn host super knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful grounds with butterflies and hummingbirds.

Traffic noise, shower attachment for tub didn't work, no bike trails nearby.

Hillary was a gracious host but the first impression of this property was very disappointing.

the inside was very nice and very clean

very very disappointed with the grounds. the property looked abandoned. overgrown shrubs, dead flowers in the few flower boxes grass not cut etc. not a pleasant look if one wanting to chill outside . not one good view from the inside looking outside. could of even used a fresh layer of gravel. nothing appealing on the outside

I liked Everything!! My rose room was beautiful and i had my own bathroom with a jacuzzi. Hillary is a great host. Food is delicious. She makes every feel welcome and is friendly to all!!

We took an entire week at this B&B to relax, unwind, and recharge--highly recommend this property!

The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood, off the main roads yet close to lots of restaurants, bakery, coffeeshop, and the beach! Very clean rooms, outstanding hospitality by Hillary and her team. The grounds are beautiful--we sat in four areas outside, including the rocking chairs on the front porch with a drink! We loved sipping our locally sourced coffee in the sun room. The gardens are beautiful to walk through and it's just the right size with four guest rooms in the main house, all with private baths. Breakfast each day was fresh, delicious and healthy! Beach towels were ready near the door every day and we brought our own bicycles, but there are beach cruisers available as well.
